My current Eberron campaign is reaching an end and I've been reading the Pathfinder books with interest. They are well constructed and contain a very rich background. I don't want to abandon all the history and background that I have from my Eberron campaign when I start a new one.
I'd initially thought of placing the new campaign in Xen'drik and placing the Pathfinder world in Menechtarun.
What changes would be necessary to Pathfinder to make this possible?

Xendrik is probably a good place, as this is a giant-heavy scenario. However, you have the problem of what to do about the goblins, since they are pretty much Khorvaire-only creatures. Drow? Maybe a bit too tough. Poison Dusk Lizardmen?
You also have a problem in that you need a decent-sized city to pose as Magnimar, though Stormreach will do for that if you decide Sandpoint is a settlement outside Stormreach.
I have only read instalemtns 1 and 2, so can't comment further on specifics. However, you would probably need to think about the BBEG. A wizard asleep for 10,000 years in Xendrik is probably going to be another giant - there were no humans in Xendrik at that time (as far as we know). So do you go with a giant (which means he will not necessarily be a wizard of great power if the CRs are to be respected) or with a more normal sized humanoid (maybe an elf or drow if not a human)? If the latter, you need to justify why he was about and so powerful at the end of the Empire of the Giants.
And is Xendrik the only place for this? The Lhazaar Principalities are quite wild, and could double for Varisia, especially as they are bounded by huge mountain ranges which could hold giants (maybe a shattered remnant of the Giant Empire in Khorvaire?) and Q'barra might also be good too as a wild place (and Sharn could double as Magnimar in that instance).
