Some people like San Francisco, California's Ghiradelli chocolate. There are brands of organic chocolate that I like quite a bit (like Green & Black--eating one of their Dark Chocolate bars now... 70% cocoa content). There are companies here that care enough to make great chocolate, but Hersheys isn't one of them.

Ghiradelli is good. I have a slab of their dark chocolate & mint waiting consumption. Dagoba Organic Chocolate (not Yoda's home) is also very good.

I've always had the desire to try a 'twinkie'? After seeing Monster Squad as a kid.

Mmm, twinkie. My wife can't stand them, but personally, my goal is to eat enough of them I won't need to be embalmed.

Of course, if you deep fat fried a fork, I'd eat that too.

Not wanting our vegetarian friends to be left out:Vegan Twinkies.

No love for the Salmiak candies?

Some of the fish and chip shops (in Scotland mainly) do battered Mars bars. Lovely but so utterly fattening and bad skin/spot causing!

A friend introduced me to the idea of microwaving mars bars then covering them in ice cream just last night. Brilliant! :D

Next time anyone here goes to Vegas, I highly recommend touring the Ethel M facility.

One note of caution: I don't drink (can't stand the taste), but Chocolate Liqueurs are undeniably awesome and pack a wallop in bulk.

I love these! :)

You can buy those Hersheys bars over here now. I didn't know Green and Black chocolate was from the USA! I quite like it -it's like the swiss stuff you sometimes get over here -dark and strong. :)

You're right, rabbit... you're right. Green & Black is made in Italy. There are some US brands that are worth trying, alas my example was not one of them.

I've never had american chocolate? Is it as bad as their breakfast cereals? -I've tried one of those before and it was like eating extremly bright and sweet polystyrene pieces saturated in cancer causing chemicals and food colourings. :) Healthier foodstuffs have fallen from christmas crakers IMO.

It IS! NEVER eat it!!! Its WORSE than the cereal!

No sweat. We solved that problem.

Personally, I prefer Granola(TM)

day to day I like a Baby Ruth bar but on those special like wow candy moments I like a real good dark chocolate doesnt matter to me if it is flavored like mint or orange; or creamy or soft or hard or with or without nuts; I like it all with somewhere around 53% dark cocoa; the 70% is a bit to much for me; but no less than 30%. Wow I just had some of the dark chocolate for peeps with diabetes and some other health conditions that some Chocolateer sometimes sells contracted at Price Club; that stuff was really good and is now my favorite special bar. But early in the morning I like a red hot or a hot tomale candy or a hot jaw breaker; I like those on cool, crisp mornings :)

I am in the Hate gummy anything; bears, worms; yuck to em all.

I like gummy worms but I hate gummy bears. And I only like those sour gummy worms.

Found these at the store this morning when I was shopping for "Drew Food" for about half what amazon wants. Still pricey, but oh so delicious:

Peppermint Bark.
