Pathfinder #4 Cover

Rise of the Runelords

Wayne rocks the cover as always, but... is it just me or does the stone giant all the way to the left look like a Muppet? I'm thinking either Sam the Eagle or the Muppet News Flash guy...

I think the ogres from Pathfinder 3's cover look more like muppets, personally.

For stone giants, we're going for a look that might make you think that Easter Island is infested with them, buried up to their necks.

That's exactly what came to mind - it's an obvious, but totally cool, connection.

Yep, worked for me. I was thinking Easter Islands and Frankenstein... :)

the muppet one does not lift rocks but has a staff.
He must be their Shaman concentrating ;D

he looks like coockie monster though

Sovereign Court

OH MY GOD!!!
When i saw the stone giant, the first thing that came to my head was MUPPET MUPPET MUPPET

which is kinda creepy because when I was a little kid i was really, REALLYY scared of the muppets.

I loved these Stone Giants. I was thinking Easter Island. I thought the Ogres from cover 3 were more "Muppet-ish" (but still very cool).

The artwork makes these giants feel very distinctive and complete. Until now, I've been used to Stone Giants as a "blah" version of giant-kin that lacked the flavor and pizazz of some of the other giants. I'm really looking forward to how unique these giants will be.

I didn't see the Easter Island connection until you pointed it out, honestly, but it does totally make sense.

Plus, you know, Felt Giants, not so tough.

I don't know - Kermit's taken a beating that would put many PC's into the negatives - it took a critical hit from a bus in Muppets Take Manhattan to put him in the hospital - and havn't you seen those videos of people trying to blow up tickle me Elmos... some of them took 2 direct hits of buckshot before even getting deformed, and he was still saying that it just tickled...

Well, it's not easy being green.

Lantern Lodge

Love the artwork!

First impression was Easter Island meets one of those plastic bendable Gumbee figures.

Not to mention all the abuse he's taken at the hands of Miss Piggy over the years.

Oh - I love the stone giants too. I didn't make the Easter Islands connection at first either but that is just so cool.
