Playing with the idea of purchasing a Combat Pad and the Brunt Offerings Alternate Cover Version, I added some stuff to my cart:

GameMastery Combat Pad
GameMastery Flip-Mat
Pathfinder #1—Rise of the Runelords Chapter 1: "Burnt Offerings"—Alternate Cover (OGL)
Shipping cost: 6.86$.
As soon as I add the Combat Pad Extra Magnets the shipping cost goes from 6.81$ up to over 20$. Ok so I tried just adding the Combat Pad and the magnets but the shipping cost is raised from 6.86$ to over 14$. Are these magnets especially unwieldy or why else is the shipping cost skyrocketing when I add them to my shopping cart?
Oh and is there any way to get an alternate cover version of Burnt Offerings signed by the Paizo Staff ;)?

It's because the ~$6 option is using a discounted service that's cheap, but requires that a certain percentage of your order (by weight) consists of "bound printed matter"—that is, books. The Combat Pad, Extra Magnet Pack, and Flip-Mat are not in that category, so adding all three of those bumped you out of the discounted service option.
Oddly, the upshot of this is that if you increase the amount of bound printed matter in your order, your shipping cost may well go back down. I'm not sure exactly how much it will take to push it back over, but might I suggest a print copy of the Rise of the Runelords Player's Guide, and/or one or more of our fine GameMastery Modules? :-)
Well that explains the shipping cost.
Concerning the Player's Guide and the GameMastery Modules... I think I only need one copy of those *points at his subscriber tags* :).
But I'd take the PDF for Burnt Offerings included in my Pathfinder subscription. Just joking ;). You guys are doing your job very well and thank you for keeping all of us informed about your overall progress. At least for me that makes waiting for my Pathfinder much easier :).
Ah and before I start experimenting with my shopping cart again there is one question left:
