But really, nobody is forcing you to use these images - it has no in-game impact. Paizo could say that elves are flourescent purple and I wouldn't care (not that they would do something so egregious).
Or do you prefer a Real Model?

Not as hot as I'd expect for an elven goddess though. :)
Haven't seen her yet, have we? So far, I think we got Desna (also elvish-looking), Lamashtu and Abadar.
All I know is that she's supposed to be the ideal of elven beauty - if you consider pointy-eared chicks with perfect proportions, revealing clothes, and a saucy grin to be ideal. (I do, in fact - though I wouldn't mind round ears in that instance)

World of Warcraft?! Anime Elves! Ugh! Ugh! Ugh! Take it away! It makes my eyes bleed.

An improvement, but the photgrapher needs a better camera.

What calendar is that?
It will be called Sexy Elves or something like that. I had planned to have it for sale for GenCon this year, but we didn't get enough snow this last winter so I need to reshoot the winter shots. So HOPEFULLY next GenCon I will have it for sale. I'll also have prints and we HOPE to have some of the models there to sign and promote the calendar, but I am not holding my breath on that one.
After the elves calendar is done we'll start on a Sexy Warriors calendar and a Sexy Sorceress calendar. I also plan on doing a 3d art calendar as well (made using Poser).
And sometimes it can be rough being a photographer, like the November shoot...

Looks good, though. Will it be for sale anywhere else? On the web, maybe (Gen Con's a little too far for my convenience). Is there a website?

Krome, do You need some stock artwork off of which to base Your calendars?
One of my friends has a fairly extensive collection of stock art that is free so long as You actually manipulate it somehow and provide a link-back to the photos used.
For "warriors", check out Taylor, Conn, Daven, Chuck, Thomas, and Michael (myself).
For "babes", check out Wendi, Ash, Casey, Stacy, Bambi, Alex, Whitney, and Heather.
There's over 4,000 images on there including wild life and scenery so maybe You'll find something useful. I look forward to seeing more elven hotties... :)

Record of Lodoss War was also one of my first high quality introductions to art involving elves that I actually liked. While I had seen other elf artwork before then, Lodoss made it all come alive, especially considering the very D&D style storyline and handling of the series.
I prefer reasonably long ears. No WOW Elves with ears longer than their arms or anything. Shalelu's art I liked. Go too far beyond that and there will be trouble.
I do advocate a variance in the size of elven ears though. Lets leave it to Half-elves to have the vulcan ears.

When I have it finished I will have it for sale at dwarvensweatshoppe.com
I can't check the pics right now, btw, I am at work, but will look at those stock images.
I like variety in elven ears. For the calendar, for example, the winter months will see the shortest ears and the summer months will have the longest ears (but no WOW ears).

I'm only on page 7 of the gallery, but I must say I am impressed with the animal photographs. I will be planning a visit to Pine Mountain Safari very soon as a result.

"James posed the following question during last week's chat: 'What's better for elves? Long pointed ears or short pointed ears?' If you have an opinion, sound off on the messageboards."
Personally, I say why not both? Leave some room for variation. Typically, I like elves with shorter points to their ears. But I don't see any reason why there can't be a particular sub-species or familial trait among some elves so that they have longer points. If I had to choose only one length, though, I'd go with short...
Any other opinions?

Yes, both...like humans who have lobes and ones who do not.
