When are you going to make the great escape?

Probably late August. I'll be out of Savannah at the end of May.

Liberty's Edge

Syracuse is where I would have went had I not left NY.

Congrats, Dave!

I'm going to "out" myself here and say that I've got my second published RPG article appearing in Pathfinder #34! :-)

And *that* calls for something special... so I'm going to get an avatar in June to celebrate the fact! :-)

I actually don't have a copy yet, so I don't know what they titled the article, but the article was a new PFRPG base class.

Too much 4e stuff in it for his tastes, apparently. Anyway, congrats on getting published.

(Also, waiting for Vilya's actions in the Opal thread.)

Today is 5 years since I stopped smoking. The missus even gave me a present - combo pack of the Sherlock Holmes movie (Bluray, DVD, and digital copy).

You rock!

Turning 40 a few weeks ago was nothing I cared much for, but I got a ticket for the open air AC/DC concert in May, just 20 km away from my home! Talk about some serious Rock´n´Roll! Of course, I had to buy their new album right away - even if it does not matter all that much, their sound stayed pretty much the same all those years.

Now I´m thinking to get a ticket for the last Scorpions tour, just a few days later - turning 40 is not so bad after all. Come to think of it, I recently had a very good whisky tasting with a few friends a few weeks ago, we are planning to do some motorbiking this year, and have the idea to repeat our Scotland tour "10 years after" in 2011. Yeah, life is good at the moment.

Gratz! I sure wish I could go this year. Maybe next year.

Thanks, Sharoth! :D

I kind of have a hankering to take part in at least one game there... and a greatsword wielding half-orc seems quite appealing at the moment! Slice and dice! Snickersnack!

My partner and I are buying a house. Not a brand new house, but this fantastic little Cape Cod style house down the street from a few of our friends. We were looking at paint and lawnmowers the other day, which means things are finally happening.

All that we are waiting on now is the official approval for the loan. My partner got pre-approved but we just have to wait for the final word.

I am excited beyond reason right now.

Good luck, Allen!

The guy who lives downstairs from me is one of the many binge-drinking, gangsta rap-loving frat boy f$~+heads that inhabit my building. All of them, including this loser, drive brand new 2010 Ford Mustang GTs, and have almost run me over on several occasions.

About ten minutes ago, I watched one of them come into the parking lot too fast and rip the transmission out of their car on a speed bump. Made my f&!$ing day.

You have fratboys going to an art school? Weird.

I know, right? There are f$+!ing TONS of them here, mostly from Texas and Florida.

So much love in this thread.

I get a week's vacation in a couple days, where I'll be out of town visiting some family. After that, it's Age of Worms time.

Got some cool stuff for my birthday: The PF Chronicles Guide to the River Kingdoms, an Osirion faction t-shirt, Kung Fu Panda on blu ray, a blu ray of the Saints Superbowl winning season, a double-disc CD set of Queen's greatest hits, and $65. I also bought, for myself, a 3-piece adjustable wrench set, Event Horizen on blu ray (for $10), and Bram Stoker's Dracula on blu ray (also $10).

Spoiler:
Are you happy now Vic?

To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women.

Having a plethora of friends offer to help when you are down and out.

Having a friend who, with very short notice, is willing to shelter your two cats and take a day off of work to help you move out of your apartment.

Having another friend who, on very short notice, lets you rent their spare room for a couple months.
