Seeing my three-year-olds face when he realises that the birthday card on the TV has his picture on it. Also watching the presenters faces when they read out the dedication and both come to the conclusion that he owns a real live monkey - it's ok guys, its a stuffed toy.
I sat my exam this morning, meaning I can relax for a bit! :-) Yeah!
Garlic stuffed olives... with a WHOLE CLOVE OF GARLIC!
Nom nom nom... I should really stop eating these...
It's 10 days until Christmas. :D
Teabags! Gorgeous, lovely, Fortnum & Mason teabags!
<Tightly hugging box>
Thank you, Wintergreen. :D
Edit:
Okay, I've opened the parcel, and discovered that it contains a caddy of tea-laves, not a box of teabags as I had thought. But yay for tea-leaves, as you can stretch them even further for individal mugs... :D
And, looking inside the caddy, I actually find tea-leaves, but packaged in individual bags after all...
Ah well. Royal Blend tea is Royal Blend tea, whatever form it comes in. :D
<Accustomed to tea-bags coming in a box, not a caddy...>

*whistles innocently* You really don't want to know what crossed my mind when I first read this....
9 days till Christmas....
Oh and cheese...cheese is good.
Christmas
Family
Rush
(old) Metallica
and many more things...
~gives a sigh of relief~
Good things...
Knowing that I will be able to get my bills back on a schedule by next month (or so).
Knowing that I will be able to pay my car insurance every six months (thus saving me $200-$300 a year) instead of monthly starting next year.
Knowing that my family, friends, and my dog care about me.
Knowing that I can now get my house fixed and at a resonable rate.
Just HAVING both a house to live in and a stable, good paying job.
And just having a blessed life.
My friends, my birthday (yesterday), and pizza...
And the epic fail blog, always puts a smile on my face

I do but Ross is looking <O.O>
I spent the afternoon with my sister, who's in Manchester today to see Depeche Mode with her husband this evening. I can't think of the last time the two of us spent time together without anyone else present. It was a pleasant afternoon- despite the cold temperature!
Christmas markets. Gotta love the smell of cooking meat, gluwein, cheeses, etc!
THE WAFFLE TRUCK CAME TO MY NEIGHBORHOOD. I AM FULL OF WAFFLES.
Edit: I'm also now way ahead on my latest batch of illustrations, since i misunderstood the deadline. Yes!

Congrats! But what on earth is a "waffle truck"?
Exactly what it sounds like. A truck that sells waffles. They sell small waffles in little paper cartons so you can walk and eat. And they're really good.

I consider myself lucky if the driver of the ice cream truck isn't too creepy.

If it was a waffle truck all this would be solved....
Good Thing :
Running my game from home,
without having to put one foot aside under the cold, wind and snow,
having my players to come home despite the weather and the distance,
having my 3 years old son enjoying their presence and not being too disruptive,
all in all having a good game.
Playing Team Fortress 2 and hearing the soldier scream at the top of his lungs: "You are all weak! You are all bleeders!"
Good coffee early in the morning.
Finishing a particularly grueling exam period.
EDIT: And cinnamon buns... gotta love cinnamon buns :)

They don't really drive around, though, since it's based in Brooklyn/NYC. They just pull over on a street corner and post their schedule on their website.
Spending time with my girlfriend and her family rather than my own.
They can cook, they don't care so much about everything being spotlessly neat, and they don't constantly question my judgment, morals, and sanity.

I hope that you have a good time David. Enjoy the break before school starts back up, my friend!
Taking the extra time to make a customer happy, and having them BE happy.
Happy enough to ask for my supervisor to relay a compliment.
*glows and does a happy little customer service dance*

Congratulations! It's a rare thing for a customer to tell you how happy they are and to go out of their way to tell your supervisor.

It seems to happen to me a lot, but that's just me being awesome. Today I SOLD something and THEN they asked to pay me a compliment. *bounce*

So, if I can get them to happy, it's a big deal.

The joys of escalated customers know no bounds. Sometimes, however, they're just happy to talk to 'someone in charge'.

After all the Christmas presents were open, and the paper and cardboard recycled, I asked my son which present he wanted to play with first. He said, "These are great, but I'd rather work on my RPG Superstar entry. Could you show me how to do the math?".
