Just got issue 148 and so far so good. I was happy to see how you used Demorgorgon's divided personalites to explain how Hethradiah was using the Savage Tide to deal with Aameul while Aameul in turn is trying to use the Bastion of Unborn Souls to destroy Hethradiah.
Now I have to debate on whether I should use the adventure Bastion of Broken Souls in the Savage Path. Thanks Paizo!!!
One question, the outfit Iggvilv is wearing in the picture for next months Dungeon reminded me allot of the old X-men foe Selene. Was that intentional?

The Bastion of Unborn Souls are "nodes" in the positive material plane where preincarnte souls are "grown". In the orginal D&D adventure Bastion of Broken Souls one of Demogorgon's head "Aameul" comes up with a plan to use the power of the Bastion to slay the other head.
The players have to travel to the Bastion to confront a powerful Dragon with the the heart of Balor that is feeding on the souls to survive and thwart Demogorgon's plan.

The Bastion of Unborn Souls is the centerpoint to the adventure from '02 called Bastion of Broken Souls. Bastion of Broken Souls was the final adventure in WotC's 3.0 original "proto" adventure path. It was a series of 8 adventures that were kind of related, though not as cohesively as the the Dungeon mag adventure paths. The Bastion itself is a font of energy on the positive energy plane where unborn souls are created.

Yah, it was a awesome adventure, (Bastion of Broken Souls) at least in ideas, I have never had the chance to run it. I was originally going to run an adventure path based upon Ashardalon and his draconic lineage. In the end I read the Prince of the Redhand and got sold on AoW. The one cool thing, I think they did in the WoTC Ashardalon AP was to have a dragon be an opponent (whether great or small) in every adventure, or at least thats what I recall was one of the goals. Heck you even fight one in the 1st level adventure! How cool is that eh? although I am sure by the 8th adventure everyone is rather sick of fighting dragons. Oh well.

Nope. Not on my part, at least, since I'm not sure who Selene is as far as X-men continuity goes. Wayne Reynolds designed Iggwilv's outfit back on the cover of Dungeon #121, and he may or may not have been inspired by it, but my guess is it's a coincidence.

Selene is better known as the Black Queen from the Hellfire Club. Her look is rather commonplace in fantasy art, picture a vamp looking woman (maybe even a real vamp) with black hair and wearing black lingerie with black spike healed boots. Yup, basically Elvira, but a little less....well endowed, lets just say. Anyhow, I am not surprised to hear that Iggwilv is illustrated in this fashion (I have not seen it myself yet, as my issue has yet to arrive, but....) as, like I said, it is a rather typical fashion style in fantasy art, for vampy females.

How is the wells of Darkness? Is it excellent?
Heck yea it is. Allot of eye candy from the Red Shroud to the Lady of Delights (can't help but notice that as this AP goes on their is a few hot demon woman running around). The return of the Demonomicon of Iggwilv and don't forget a few gold coins for the Boatman of the River Styx and so much more.

Can we have a bit of a summary? Some of us are on the other side of the world and won't get the magazine for another month, you know... ;)

I ran the whole series while I was in the Navy, with the exception of Deep Horizon, which I read through and just couldn't get into whatsoever.
The Sunless Citadel had a white dragon, the Forge of Fury had a black dragon, the Speaker in Dreams didn't have any dragons that I can recall, nor did The Standing Stones. Heart of Nightfang Spire had a dead dragon, with the party facing off against the beastie that killed it (a mooncalf). Deep Horizon didn't have dragons either, if memory serves, but I didn't run it so I could be wrong. Lord of the Iron Fortress had an opportunity to battle a couple of blues, and a half-red dragon duergar. And Bastion of Broken Souls had, of course, Ashardalon, as well as a number of his dragon and half-dragon offspring. So, the dragons are sparsed out enough that my players didn't have a problem with it.
