How about Paizo bringing us into its new campaign setting before Dragon sunsets?

Dragon Magazine General Discussion

Liberty's Edge

With three issues left, I was opening Paizo would start bringing to the foreground appetizers for its new campaign setting that will kick in after Dragon 359's release. (The same goes for Dungeon magazine.) Anything in the works?

I'd love to see this too, but I've seen James Jacobs and Erik Mona make noises elsewhere about how both magazines have something like a year lead time. Several months at least. So it's unlikely at best.

Still. I'd love to see some stuff about the new world.

not only that but every thing that is not fiction that appears in them is owned by WotC, so I doubt that Paizo is going to be revealing anything about the new CS there in.

DER! Yeah.

We won't be seeing anything about the new Pathfinder world in Dungeon or Dragon, methinks.

Yeah... aside from perhaps some blurbs in First Watch or advertisements, we won't be saying anything about Pathfinder or the Gamemastery line in either magazine. That's what the blog and these messageboards are for.

Several months it is. For example, we're about halfway through our cycle for the penultimate print edition of Dragon, which has an August cover date and a July on-sale date. We just finished the art order for #359 and will begin editing that in a couple weeks.

i'm sure that's partly due to the fact that anything printed in Dragon/Dungeon becomes property of WotC?
