It might be cool to add, though I already post my fiction up on Planewalker, and my pair of storyhours over on Enworld. Still, if such a section was added, I'd pitch something into it. Currently working on a little speculative short story involving fiends, gods, and FR's 3e cosmology.
I think that it is a good plan we have some creative geniuses(sp) on the boards and I would love to read what they come up with. So yeah you got my vote for it.
I'd read the submissions. If I had time I might even write something too.
I guess there's not quite that much interest...
You gotta give an idea on a message board more than an hour and fifteen minutes before you start "whining" about a lack of interest. Some of my gaming boards have people who post in chunks about once a week - they log in and upload what they've written and then catch up on everything that happened in other countries that week and then log off and start writing. *shrug*
As for the idea, that would be a neat thing to have. I know I would at least read what got posted - would likely do some writing of my own, as well.

I have four kids, three still at home... some days I has it, some days I lose it. ;) At least the ones old enough to do so, like to play D&D.
