I'm still waiting for mine in the mail, but from what I've seen they recommend that you don't use them against the players or that you use them only for major bad guys. I instend to let the players spend an Action point to negate the crit (turning it into a normal hit and doing so before the cards are drawn).
My question is how are other people using or going to use theirs?

I just got mine...ouch!
My philosophy is that if it is good enough for the players then it is good enough for the bad guys. It'll make PCs far more leary of the rapier (huge threat range) or scythe (huge crtitcal multiplier)!

I'm just now starting a conversation with my players about them because they look so cool I want to order them (yes, I read the blog post and saw the samples).
We have actually been using a chart of alternate crit results that we found online a few years back, and I have always given them the choice of rolling for damage, or using the chart, when the score a crit. I haven't ever used it against them, but only because I think there is some resistance to having your character potentially maimed in some way.
I like the idea of using an action point to negate the card and have the damage instead (and we are using AP in Age of Worms), so maybe I'll try that.

I'm thinking about getting this product. Here's an idea of what I might do.
Allow the PCs the option of using a normal crit or drawing a card. If they draw a card, I put a token in a cup.
When the bad guys roll a crit, I take a token out of the cup and draw a card. If there are no tokens, I just do a normal crit.
Ah, Karma...

O.K. I finally got my Critical Hit Cards in today and they are very cool and I'm excited about trying them this Wednesday night.
However, I have a question on the bleed result and that is does it continue every round or only last until the end of the round on which it's recieved? The former makes more sense to me but the wording is unclear (at least to me).

Bleed does indeed continue every round until stopped.
