Any Lovecraft influence in Varisia?

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

It seems like a lot of you guys at Paizo dig the Cthulhu mythos as much as I do. Just curious if DJ H.P. had any influence on your new campaign world.

Just had a thought: HP Lovecraft died 70 years ago, so barring any licensing agreements (or change in the law), wouldn't that mean that it would be possible to do a D&D Lovecraftian AP* from 2008 onwards?
* At least, based on Lovecraft's work (not necessarily other Mythos writers).

Lovecraft being my favorite author... it'd be silly not to expect some sort of mythos influence here and there in the pages of Pathfinder...

I try to find a way to inject a little Lovecraft into all my campaigns, so obviously I'd love to see it in Varisia as well.

Lovecraft will have a place in Pathfinder. Never fear.

I'm not sure to what extent, but if I have my way... you'll be recognizing names now and then...
