In Dungeon #150, how about statting your "iconic" characters for us (as was done for the D&D 3.0 iconics in "Enemies and Allies"?

We've already got #150 so crammed with stuff that there's not really any room for stats for our iconics, alas. They WILL, however, be on the cover.

Yup. All 11 of them.

No no John! Don't worry...the iconics will be fighting the demon prince...he won't look all handsome and cool.

LOL!

I think I am not alone.
I dislike the icon characters immensely and find myself perversely wishing that the lady in red with all the spiked appendages would fumble on a tumble and impale herself. Maybe others like them. If so, good for them. I would far rather have artists unfetterred to do whichever adventurerers they want to portray.

The repetition of a few branded characters is very effective if you are a fast food chain.

Fantasy is imagination.

Archetypes are good, stereotypes bad.

Dungeon has provided so many wonderful antagonist over the years--I think having a little nod for the heroes would be great. I would like to see starting stats and a progression table along the lines of the Shackled City Book for the Storm Blades. I can imagine it would be a great way to incorporate the characters in games of any level. I enjoyed the feel of a party that has endured the many adventures over the past 3 years or so. The iconic characters should not go quietly.

So...right now there is nowhere to find the actual names and stats for the iconic characters? I'm pretty new to DUNGEON so I actually just started noticing the same characters being presented over and over again. Do they even have names?
