For some odd reason, since at least when I retired from the Navy 31 years ago, I find music distracting when I’m trying to do anything else.

I had fun grazing on this tranche of D&D history and came across these three albums that "can add immeasurably to the expedition/adventure, and sometimes helps keep rowdy parties quieter and more manageable". All by the one of the best keyboard players ever Rick Wakeman

Very under-rated song. Even though I've moved past Smashing Pumpkins, this was/is a great song.
Metallica - "Blackened"

The soundtrack album to "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon". Some of it is just so beautiful it wrenches your heart right out of you.
