Piccio dal Pozzo. Kind of Canterbury Scene-y, which is not what I was expecting.

14 wives, or 8 wifier than Henry 8th (ha) (or Great Grandad Longears, who was a cavalry sergeant and not a cult leader but still managed to rack up six marriages). Good for you, clearly.
I'm listening to Mëkanïk Dëstruktïẁ Kömmandöh by Magma.

Just one more post on page 129 and I'm gonna cheat. Instead of listening to it now, I am going to bump it and then skip directly to page 132 after I listen to I'm Gonna Take You Home again.
[Freaks out]
Less culty unhinged wigout, more psyche-y country rock, a la Workingmen's Dead/American Beauty era Grateful Dead or A Jug of Love by Mighty Baby which is also well worth a listen, if only because it's the only actual Islamic country and western (ish) album in existence, so far as I know.

In addition to enjoying this, I also found Gal Beeri's comment from 11 months ago to be particularly insightful, beautiful and true.

Oddly for me, not metal, industrial, electronica, rock or some combination thereof today. Those are my go to genres while I'm at work, but right now I'm in the mood for something more soothing.
Tired and stressed, so today's music of choice is Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 14, a.k.a. the Moonlight Sonata. Specifically the first movement, because it's so calming to listen to, and I found a really good looped version of it. It's all that is keeping me sane right now.

King came out the year I left the family cave and no longer had access to MTV. By the time I got access to MTV again, they stopped playing music videos. Point, being, I'd never seen any of this delectable Tanya Donnelly vids:

Just got back from playing a show. The band I play in, Operation Hennessey, was first on the bill, followed by Judge Gazza, Anormous Jonsun, Insufficient Funds, and Dérive.

Right now these two:
Thunderstruck by Steve'n'Seagulls.
2CELLOS - Thunderstruck. Play it Loud. The actual cover starts aproximatly at 1:10.
Their name, 2CELLOS, is cool, but in this case slightly misleading since there are at least 3 cellos involved at times.
