So I finally started my Shackled City Campaign...

Shackled City Adventure Path

What do I need?

Which Dragon Magazines are involved with this adventure path that I should look over? Is there anything I need to take into consideration running this campaign?

And are there notes for converting this to a Forgotten Realms setting? I've already decided to place it along the coastal regions of the Jungles of Chult, in a mountain region where an extinct volcano would definitely exist. I placed it southeast of Mezro.

I'll explain the party make-up, too.
-------------------------------------------------------------
We have, for starters, a fey'ri Soulknife who regrets his kin's actions and has become a vagabond in their eyes, leaving and exploring the world and finding his place. He stays in human form as his alter self ability.

A strongheart halfling Rogue who was raised in traveling circus, recently stopped in Waterdeep.

A half-sun elf Urban Druid scribe/investigative reporter who works for an employer that records and sells information to Waterdeep's public through broadcryers (medieval "newspaper" type company).

An Illuskan human Warmage, loves fire magic and has spellfire.

A goliath Barbarian who hails from a tribe located in the western peaks of the Spine of the World.

One thing I did was ask my players to create character from Cauldron. It makes a big difference when the game is about "my city" instead of "the city".

The goliath could have easily come from the same mountain that Cauldron is on.

Unless you have quite a few of the Dungeon magazines already you may be better off just buying the hardcover. It tightens up all the adventures and fixes some of the errors. The first couple of adventures were under 3.0 rules too if I remember correctly.

Olaf the Stout

There is one character, the warmage, who will have a background in Cauldron. And the Urban Druid loves cities naturally (no pun intended), and she plans to make Cauldron her second favored city when she reaches 5th level. So I have that checked.

I have all the Dungeon Magazines since it switched to 3E, and I would love to get the Shackled City book but it's too much over my price range.

As for Dragon Magazines, there wasn't really a crossover with SCAP content in Dragon like there was for the AOWAP or the STAP. The issues of Dungeon are about the only info that you have to go on.

Olaf the Stout

As for conversion info, Paizo didn't release conversion notes for SCAP (unlike with AoW and the start of ST)... however, the forums here are just dripping with conversion information.

Also, if you are fairly knowledgeable of the campaign world, you can roughly approximate where you think it goes best.

Another option is to look over the conversion notes provided for AoW... notes for the Spire of Long Shadows could be helpful (remember, the Spire is in the jungle not too far from Cauldron.

Grand Lodge

So how's it working out -- give an update, man. I'm starting a SCAP in 2 weeks, though it's altered alot from the published text. The PCs are going to start off in Sasserine and get sent to, of all places, Diamond Lake where they'll run through The Whispering Cairn from AoW. They'll start the SCAP in Cauldron soon after, though. The "world" is just a little bigger, that's all. Of course, my tie in of Vhalantru / Cagewrights and AoW / Kyuss is brilliant. (Imagine Vhalantru in the Ebon Triad!)
