Heir to Occipitus question

Shackled City Adventure Path

First, sorry if this questioned has been asked and answered. One of my players recently has acquired the Smoking Eye Template and posed a question. If he dies and his body returns to Occipitus would he suffer a loss of a Constitution point due to his death or is he essentially immortal?

What do you folks think?

If the person with the Smoking Eye template dies somewhere other than on the demiplane of Occipitus, then his spirit and his body will reform on the demiplane of Occipitus without suffering any CON point loss. If the person with the Smoking Eye template dies on the demiplane of Occipitus, then that person is dead since Occipitus is now that person's home plane.

He would lose a level or 2 Con points if raised or resurrected as per the rule of those spells. In case of true resurrection he wouldn't lose any of them. However, "lie in state" doesn't mean the character is living again. His body is kept intact (even if previously disintegrated or maimed) on Occipitus but is not raised nor resurrected.

Hope this helps.

Bran.

Don't forget that there's a chance (30%? 50%?) each time the person dies that they lose the smoking eye template.

It's 20% actually. (From the SCAPHC)

I assumed they made a typo and meant to say the person will be raised from the dead in 1d100 days. (Just like it says for the Lie In State description for Adimarchus)
