Possibly TPfG is waiting to mail them together to lower shipping/mail costs.
They only did this with 139 since it apparently arrived from their distributor at the same time as 348. (We're still trying to work out what the delay was, but the answer may well have been "held up in customs," which isn't something we can anticipate.)

I live in Germany. Issue *140* arrived today.
Both Dungeon #139 and Dragon wer delivered in one package about three weeks ago.
Greetings,
Günther
P.S.
I ordered products both from Paizo and from Expeditious Retreat Press/ Texas. Both orders were made on September 17th, 2006. Both products had about the same weight. The XRP order arrived less than a week later, accompanied by a nice hand written note thanking for my support. The Paizo order arrived yesterday.

Any chance future releases could always be shipped in plastic bags to prevent this sort of damage in the future?
If memory serves, they're supposed to be wrapped. As I'd mentioned previously, copies intended for European subscribers (which I believe are all supposed to be bagged) are shipped together with copies intended for retail distribution (which should only be bagged when the issues contain inserts).
It sounds like TPFG must have received boxes from the wrong part of the shipment.
We'll check into this.

Dungeon 140 arrived yesterday, in just a thick paper envelope. For almost all issues of Dungeon or Dragon which don't come with maps, posters etc. the lack of a plastic bag is normal (in my 18 months' experience).
Dungeon 139 arrived today, sealed in a plastic bag and inside a paper envelope, as all issues with inserts do.
