Lesser Planar Ally...

I just need to know some good examples of Extraplanar creatures my NPC cleric can call via Pelor's favor. (Fire Elemental for one, right?)

Peloran clerics calling Fire Elementals...That seems a bit far-fetched, so I guess that's sarcasm? *ducks*

Anyway, Pelor's domains are (if I recall) Sun, Healing, Good and Protection. I reckon a Peloran could call a Couatl or a Celestial critter, but other than that I'm at a loss.

Sword archons. Don't know if that falls into the "lesser" category, though.

Grand Lodge

Hound Archon - 6 HD goodness. One would almost think it was designed fot that spell...

A bralani would fit the bill, too. And a celestial manticore (yes, I know that's not technically possible, but just rename the beast) could be an interesting option as well.

Sticking with a criteria of a Neutral Good Outsider or Elemental:

Monster Manual:
a "Half-Celestial" creature of up to 6 HD (e.g. an advanced Pegasus)
an Aasimar of up to 6th level

Monster Manual II:
Celestial, Guardinal (Cervidal)
a "Monster of Legend" creature of up to 6 HD (e.g. a Centaur Knight 2... hm.. that's kinda cool...)

From the Book of Exalted Deeds:
Guardials (Equinal or Musteval)
Hollyphants
a "Saint" creature of 6 HD (e.g. an Ogre Mage Monk 1)

Dragon #346 has a Core Beliefs: Pelor article that describes a Planar Ally of Pelor, Noonfeather the Celestial Giant Eagle.

Hope this helps,
TK

Thanks to everybody, I now have the Monster Manual, Monster Manual II and Monster Manual III, as well as the Book of Exalted Deeds at my disposal. (rather than just the MM) I will probably use the celestial lion or the Hound Archon (depending on the foe)

Pelor is the god of the sun, and the sun is a giant ball of fire, thus, fire elementals.
