Dragon Compendium Vol. II: Dark Sun?

Probably not, but I thought it'd be cool for Paizo to release a hardbound Dark Sun Campaign Setting, updated and errata'd as needed.

Then again, I'd like to see Knights of the Lich Queen updated and errata'd and released in a hardbound, too.

As unlikely as that is, I definitely second that.

I don't know that Dragon has produced enough content on Dark Sun to fill a hardcover book.

An Incursion book would be really nifty, though, wouldn't it? :)

You had me at 'hello' =)

Actually, an entire book dedicated to the dead settings (Think Campaign Classics x10) would be pretty good. Maybe not enough to revive a setting, but stuff like new rules for ship-to-ship combat in Spelljammer or cultures of the Hollow World to seriously enrich it.

That's a snazzy idea, if I may say so.

I wouldn't want to spend $40 on a book dedicated to the classic campaigns. I would hate to have pages and pages of Mystara or Dragonlance that I would never use. I would rather have one book per setting. Dark Sun, Planescape, and Spelljammer were my favorite. Brand new material to supplement the official world websites written mostly/in conjunction with the those sites contributors would be a given.

This is a supreme idea. I personally would love a "Mystara: Red Steel, Hollow World" one, as well as Spelljammer and Athas. Having separate volumes would make it much more feasable for those of us on fixed budgets that don't want certain settings.

Hey, you could always add some more crunch and fluff! I wouldn't mind.

As for Incursion - absolutely! But a question ... if you aren't sure whether there's enough content for Dark Sun, then would the Incursion book have additional information not from Dragon or Dungeon? I ask this, because I thought Paizo put out more content on Dark Sun than Incursion.

If we were going to do an Incursion book, we'd include all articles (and Dungeon adventures) about githyanki we've ever published. And I suspect that's a higher page count than Dark Sun.

If you're hell bent on a good 3.5 Dark Sun adaption, go to Athas.org. I was a pretty hardcore Dark Sun lover, and I was very pleased by their adaption of the material. Furthermore, it is also "official" and recognized by WotC. You'll need some other campaign materials from the old stuff, but what they have is a really good start.

I like the idea of including adventures from Dungeon as well into a potential "classic setting" compendium... I'd definitely go for it, and it would help to round it out...
