I am looking for info on the Iuz... as a place to start a campaign. Can anyone give books, articles, adventures etc.. that take place there.

Also, what is the name or the books were Cyric firsts becomes a god?

Thank you

Cyric rises to godhood in the third book of the Time of Troubles trilogy, Waterdeep.

As for information on Iuz, the two first edition boxed sets for Greyhawk have lots and I believe there is something called Iuz the Old out although I don't own that one.

"Iuz the Evil" is a 2nd edition sourcebook detailing the lands and NPC's of Iuz's Empire. "City of Skulls" is a 2nd edition adventure set in Dorakaa for 6-8 characters, levels 9-12. Both are available as pdf's from Paizo.

Is the land that Iuz controls worse than the Midnight D20 world?

Examples to compare?
In Midnight d20 weapons, travel, literacy are illegal. Wizards are put to death and magic anything can get you killed. Not to mention being anything but of human decent will get you killed on site. Intelligent zombies that as long as they consume living flesh they retain lively appearence as well. And no good cleric class.

I would say so. At least in Midnight all you worry about are mostly orcs. In Iuz's lands, you have to worry about fiends as well, even if most of them were banished be the Crook of Rao. Plus, Iuz always struck me as somewhat insane.

Not to mention the Lesser and <gulp> Greater Boneahearts!
