Unless I missed it, there is no mention in the article about Baphomet's underhanded conflict with Vaprak, the demigod of Ogres. Just to make sure I have all my bases covered, I'm hoping the will ruminate on the subject a bit... (hint hint)

Seriously, though... I'd love to hear your take on it James.

the book is also mentioned in the FC1 preview of the ToC. :)

BOZ, I'm having a brain fart. Can you try saying that again, in Common? :)

hmm, that post was meant for another thread. i must have been up so late that i got my wires crossed. ;)

what i meant to say was:

where does it say that Baphomet has a previous conflict with Vaprak?

(TSR 9487) Forgotten Realms: Giantcraft. There are two references in there to Baphomet undermining Vaprak. I know it's FR specific, but it's still a source, and I'd like to know if there is any more to this.

ah, that explains why i hadn't thought of it.

what little i've read of the way that book presents the giant gods has been interesting, but i must say it contradicts the "core" versions at times. not sure i'd use it in any sort of canon sense for non-FR settings, but i'm sure tidbits like a conflict between baphomet and vaprak could be lifted with little trouble. :)
