I really desperatly need u guys to tell me where Katashka is mentioned and where i can get some information about him. i've scoured every eberron sourcebook in search for info on him to no avail. please help
That's because, as far as I can tell, Kashtaka was made up by Keith Baker specifically for the AoW Eberron conversions. He may have been mentioned in the recent article in Dragon on the Lords of Dust (Issue 337, perhaps?), but that's probably it.
The issue with the Lords of Dust article is one of the best issues ever. If you don't have a copy find one!

This, along with what's already been mentioned, are the only places I've come across Katashka, and I've read all published Eberron material. Then again, there are some glaring gaps in my memory from time to time, so I could've easily overlooked something!
I think he may be mentioned in the Players Guide as well, in the Lords of Dust entry, but he originally appeared in the pages of Dragon in the aformentioned article. If I'm not mistaken, it is also the issue with the Ecology of the Spawn of Kyuss, though I too have glaring gaps in my memory.
IMC, Katashka lead Kyuss and his followers to Xen'Drik through visions, and they built the original Spire of Long Shadows on top of where he was imprisoned...
