The Black Egg and the Black Covenant

I've recently been reading through old Dungeon issues and ran across 106's "The Black Egg". I have a couple of pages left to read, but I found the adventure quite interesting. In particular, I found the NPC orginization in the adventure quite interesting. My question is, are there more adventures/resources that feature the Black Covenant, or was it a one-time appearance?

The Black Covenant only appeared in this one adventure. So far.

Interesting. Maybe Mr. Montano will right a followup! Thank you, Mr. Jacobs.

That was a great adventure. I ran my party of evil PC's through it a few years back. The falling Fane killed two of them right off the bat. The half-dragon cloud giant killed another one. The fighter/disciple of asmodeus in the group ended up in control of the egg. He tried to use it to wipe out the yuan-ti cultists from Porphyry House Horror (Dungeon 95). He failed and I had my 2nd TPK since 3rd edition began. Ahh...memories...

Oh...the Fane ties into one of the prophecies in the Age of Worms too. I thought that was pretty cool.

I ran this with a different group of characters as a side trek when it showed up in The Age of Worms path. I let them get off the Egg free and clear because the party was pretty well devastated - that half-fiend dragon was more of a killer than I thought...and that was after the Symbol of Death trap.

There are a lot of pictures of yelling corpses on this thread...

even though there was only the one appearance by that particular group, it is a group that a DM can work into their campaign as an ongoing group of baddies. I personally kind of like the idea of using the 'black egg' adventure as their last appearance, but that's just me.
