Which issue was this from...

Dungeon Magazine General Discussion

A friend lent me an issue with a module I really wanted to run in it. I've since returned the issue, and he's lost it, so I'm trying to find out which one it was in.

It was an adventure for a level 1 party.

The story involved kobold trying to disguise themselves as halflings to hire an adventuring party to help. There was a chain demon who had been shrunk to tiny size, but was going to return to full size if someone didn't imprison him again soon. That was the gist of it anyway.

Anyone know what issue that's from, or what the adventure was called?

Could it be Richard Pett's "The Devil Box" from issue #109?

I believe you are looking for the Devil's Box, issue #109 by Richard Pett.

Hunter beat me to it by about a minute it looks like. Anyway, I'm pretty sure that's the issue in question... he has some interesting commentary on the adventure if you search through the messageboard archives.

I think Ashavan and Hunter could be on to something there...

Avoid the shackling when going to muffin's honor unless the pcs are desperate for "blind" dates.
