Hey everyone, just sharing some happy news...

My son, Corbin was born Thursday 4:33PM. He was a healthy 8 pounds 11 ounces, and 19 inches long. My wife did a great job and we're all home and resting now. The doctor was impressed, he says that he doesn't get many women who deliver without an epidural nowadays.

My daughter Lexi (3 1/2 yrs old) and I are already starting with the brainwa-, I mean, uh...indoctrination. She likes teaching him and showing him her toys "This is Spiderman and this is a dragon...he's blue". She also put my plush Cthulhu in with him and said "This is Put-ulu!" Grand times in store!

...if we can ever get any sleep.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Kids are what makes it all worth it.

Sleep? ha...whats that?

CONGRATULATIONS!!

Congratuations, Gavin!

Will you be reading "Sandman" as a bedtime story, 'cause that would be cool! :)

Man, these babies are sprouting all over the place aren't they. Kind of shows you what people are doing when they're not roleplaying!

Félicitations, my dear Gav... I know the baby's in good hands when the father has a plush Cthulhu.

Congrats, man;

Get used to no sleep.

Big tip: Whenever baby sleeps, make mom sleep too; everyone, mom included, will be better off.

Yay! Woo-hoo! Plush Cthulhus for everybody!

I imagine Gav in a few months...

"Can you say Cthulhu? Yes you can... Keh-thool-hoo!"

Ia, Unka Ultradan! And congrats to you, too!

Don't worry, I've taken the week off and Mrs. Gavgoyle and I are a pretty good duo. She gets not an extravagant number of naps, but enough to stay pretty functional and I need relatively little sleep. Lexi is at daycare through the day and that helps keep get the rythem of normalcy beating again.

Maybe not "A Season of Mists", but when Neil was in Austin, I did get my daughter's copy of "The Day I Traded My Dad for Two Goldfish" autographed. I expect that qualifies it as 'the official' Gaiman bedtime book. They'll have to wait a few years to get thier hands on my good comics.

The Exchange

CONGRATULATIONS!!

So any updates since then?

Can he Spell C'thulhu yet?

Um . . . putting C'thulu in with the baby may not be the best for its sanity. How is it now?
