In my future campaign, one of my players would like to play a paladin. The problem is, that he chose devotion to a god, that isn't normally worshipped by classic paladins.
If i remember correctly, there's been an article in Dragon about non-good paladins, but i can't find the issue. Damn, we need an index...:)
I only found the anti-paladin article from Dragon #312, but this doesn't help me, 'cause the character shouldn't be evil.
Can anybody help me out?

No sweat. You're looking for Dragon Issue #310. It features an article ("Champions of the Divine" by James Jacobs, pages 46-54) for a "paladin" for each alignment (excluding the evil paladins of #312):
LG - Paladin
NG - Sentinal
CG - Avenger
LN - Enforcer
N - Incarnate
CN - Anarch
And for completion's sake, #312 ("Blackguards" also by James Jacobson, pages 18-26) features the following "paladins":
LE - Despot
NE - Corruptor
CE - Anti-Paladin
Hope this is the help you're looking for...
...and I'd forgotten that friggin' aggrevating Sci-Fi Bookclub card that splits up the great blackguard pic. Grrrrr!!!!!

Thank you, Chris, this is exactly the issue i've been looking for.
You spared me some hours of flippin' through back-issues.
The higher the pile of Dragon-issues grows, the more i'm losing the overlook on its content.
The only reason I could readily pull that info up is that I took issues #310-#312 and hung them in a binder (using those handy magazine holder things) so I could have the alternate class info in one place when rolling up characters. I keep meaning to take a box of Dragons to Kinkos to photocopy all the useful stuff to stick in a binder. Right now my "system" of Post-Its on the covers is working (started doing that when I needed to pull up Flaws articles) but I'd rather have everything I need in one "Players Options" binder.
