Shackled City Adventure Path

Dead familiar = evil player

So the party enters the final room with the mummy and kalphron attacking… the fight is going well for the party and kalphron is trying to push party member into the plasma… all of a sudden the Cleric walks into the plasma and starts to get the sign… but on that round the party sorcerer throws is snake familiar into the plasma! Now kalphron is going nuts and attacking will all of his power cone of cold fire ball and more… trying to kill off party member and not doing will also he used his blasphemy to paralyze the fighter and the paladin… the monk and kalphron was having it out.

But the sorcerer threw his familiar in totally unexpected but cool I like it when they surprise me. I made the sorcerer change his alignment to NE because of this terrible act he will need to seek atonement to get his alignment back… The Paladin is going to try and convince the sorcerer to believe in heronious… and have a quest they must seek.

Who would have expected the sor to throw in his snake? Please give me some feed back on this what dose everyone thing about this?

I don't wanna be the bad guy here, Molay...but I think I'm speaking for a big part of the crowd when I say that, between your poor spelling and grammar, to the rambling post that made little sense, you're not going to get much feedback since no one can comprehend the question.

From what I can tell, the Sorceror threw in HIS OWN FAMILIAR in order to gain the Sign..? As a DM, I'd say fine; he gets the sign, suffers all the damages from having his familiar die (you DID apply those damages, right?) and you changed his alignment to NE...

Looks like you pretty much ran it correct; just make sure the penalties from the death of his familiar aren't overlooked.

M

It was not so much a question but a shock to me... I never expected him to do something like that... I will be adding the penalties from killing his familiar but I needed to look them up so they will apply next gaming session (-1000xp and something else)

But this socked me... did anyone else have a PC do something unexpected like this?

Sorry about the spelling I did not spell check this before I posted

My spelling and grammer really are nothing to write home about - except in shame. But if you read your posts after writing them and then edit them it will usually make it possible for others to at least understand what you are saying.

Your writing something that is expected to make others here stop and do a double take. That however fails if we can't even understand the story.
