City Council...

Shackled City Adventure Path

Hi there,
I'm playing Demonskar Legacy by now, and my players are very interested in finding out who owns to the City Council. Well, I can figure out that there are the Church representatives, the Lord Mayor, some nobles representatives and some merchants representatives. But who are they?
They need names and other things. I fully read "Foundation of Flame" where you can find some members in the City Council, but they only are a few lefting in the city. I think all the "BAD PEOPLE IN COUNCIL" is missing.
Is there any one who can helm with this?
Thanks in Advance.

Nanmaniac...of course, this reply comes a couple years too late(sigh),but yes, in the hardcover "Shackled City Adventure Path" (SCAP), all of the primary baddies are covered. Now, all of the rest are for you to fill in as they normally don't have a direct impact on the campaign as written. Ah, the job of the DM!

i don't know if it says anywhere but I decided Cauldron was ruled by a noble council. Think of something like the House of Lords in the UK. I made a Player's Guide that has all of the noble families listed, each family has a seat but there are some that do not participate, like Alek Tercival. The Lord Mayor acts as a final arbitrator of all affairs but he must respect a vote by the council. I also decided that only nobles can run for public office, though they do not need to be the family representative on the council.

Check out my Player's Guide on theRPGenius.com for the whole writeup.

I don't know if this helps you or not but it was what I came up with for a logical authority system that was still medieval.

Here is an old thread that discusses Cauldron Council members.
