Make your saving throw, gamer, we've got a unique collector's item that you can't get anywhere else—and it's chock-full of Pathfinder gaming goodness!

When we first released "Burnt Offerings" a little over five years ago, this very first Pathfinder product opened a door into a whole new gaming world. The Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path was forged in a time of adversity (one that you can take a peek at in our retrospective blogs, starting here), and this iconic series of adventures is a hallmark of Paizo's publishing history...but these volumes became extremely hard to find as eager gamers snatched them up. Originally released in six parts, the Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path hits all of the fantasy gaming notes: goblins, ancient ruins of a once-mighty empire, ogres, giants, dragons, and powerful wizards. For our tenth anniversary (and the fifth anniversary of Pathfinder), we decided to dust off these beloved adventures—and improve on them. The Rise of the Runelords Anniversary Edition Hardcover is the result of hours of reading feedback from gamers that braved the adventure's perils, tweaking encounters, adding new art, and laying out a book that spanned over 400 pages—but we were not yet satisfied, and sought new ways to celebrate this landmark in Paizo's history.

Weighing in at over ten pounds, the Rise of the Runelords Deluxe Collector's Edition is not just a complete Pathfinder Roleplaying Game campaign—designed to take your character from a wet-behind-the-ears would-be-hero to a force worth reckoning with—but is a collector's piece you can't get anywhere else, and available only on Paizo.com! The presentation case itself is imitation leather, with metal casings and a working metal latch to keep everything contained. The Deluxe Collector's Edition hardcover is made of imitation leather, embossed with the Sihedron Rune (symbol of ancient Thassilon), contains a red ribbon bookmark to keep track of the campaign's progress, and is printed in beautiful full color on thick, high-quality paper. The best part, though, is that all of the campaign's handouts—twenty-two in all—are neatly tucked into the page itself, so you can slide out a copy for your players while still being able to reference it while running your game!

But we're still not done. In addition to a campaign that people are still talking about and running over five years after its initial release as six separate volumes, you'll receive fifteen full-color premium art prints, individually packaged in vellum envelopes and suitable for framing! Featuring the original Rise of the Runelords cover images, as well as the Anniversary Edition cover, and six iconic characters, and one Very Important NPC!

Don't wait to get this glorious Deluxe Collector's Edition—there are extremely limited quantities available only on Paizo.com! If your order by Sunday, December 2nd at 11:59 pm (and you are an active Pathfinder Adventure Path subscriber), you'll get a free PDF of the Rise of the Runelords Anniversary Edition compilation! Check out the unboxing video here from publisher Erik Mona so you can see this one-of-a-kind collector's item in action!

More Blog.

Hopefully this will still be available in 2 weeks, gotta wait for my next paycheck before I can get it.

If I'm not a subscriber, would I get the free PDF as well? If so, I'm guess we would get the PDF emailed to us by 12/3?

This would blow my mind if I could get the PDF and have my Collector's Edition. :)

If you preordered it do you still get the PDF?

You have to be an active Adventure Path subscriber, per the details in the product description.

I've updated the blog to clarify this point.

You're going to geek out when you get this.

It comes in a big box, surrounded by foam beads and styrofoam, wrapped in more foam.

Cut that open, and you have the 'tome' you see above, which is a case containing the module.

open that up, and the book itself is wrapped in another sheet of foam, and it's wonderful...the binding bends nicely, is not stiff, and so won't visibly crack and mar as you sit in the corner with it and chuckle.

Several pages are double thickness and have handouts sheathed inside them for giving to the players.

The adventures are all updated to PF standards, changing classes and monsters and whatnot to be more balanced, although I do miss stats for the PC's on the back.

I actually don't own the originals, they came out at a time when money for me was tight, but I do have the original PDF's, bought them during one of the Paizo sales. So I've read the adventures and it was fun comparing what I remember to the new go through.

Classic adventures, and not at all less deadly for the update!
