No, at the moment I'm having nightmares about having less cash-on-hand than my rent payment and living without my diabetes medication.
The backbreaking work on Tome of Horrors Complete will be quite the respite if I haven't had to hoc my iMac by that time.
(Sorry... the dwindling funds for food and shelter have begun to drag me down of late.)

All questions about Frog God Games products and former Necromancer products being released by Frog God Games can be answered in this thread.
This so we avoid spamming poor Clark's new Legendary games thread.
I dont mind the posts in my thread :) I just want to make sure Bill gets the visibility on his products that he deserves.

Given the load of stuff I just proofread, there's a load of stuff coming your way, BK.

Just in case there are some who didn't see this already; here's the latest news copied from Frog God Games website:
"May 30, 2011
Lots and lots of news today. Hex Crawl Chronicles part 1-2 go live this week! Splinters of Faith 6,7,and 8, as well as our first Saturday Night Special release- Hollow Mountain, arrive from the printer in the next two days. Greg is fresh back from ReaperCon, and Matt and I will be making a guest appearance at North Texas RPG Con this week. We look forward to seeing you all there! Tome is in layout, UBAD and Tsar 9 are next up, and us amphibians will have a ton of new releases all summer long to sate the appetites of our fans. Black Monastery is in its final stages of artwork, and is even cooler than I remembered 30 years ago:)!
I will also be attending PaizoCon later this month in Bellevue WA, and Skeeter Greene will be joining me. I'll be running SW games there as well."

I dunno if I would say alternate rules set. Short of the leftover Necromancer stuff (published for PF only), absolutely everything that FGG has published has been for both S&W and PF. So the support has been pretty much equal, if anything slightly titled towards PF stuff.
True, because the initial FGG product is the Slumbering Tsar campaign, which is written entirely for Pathfinder.
And UBAD (The Ultimate Book of Adventure Design) by Mythmere (Matt Finch), though it has the Swords and Wizardry label on it, has no game rule specific information in it at all and can be used to create an adventure in any game system. I am not sure when UBAD will come out as it isn't complete yet, still awaiting art as far as I know.

Yes, I already saw Mythmere on the FGG site. Definitely purchasing that one as soon as it is available in Paizo store!

This is 3rd on my list critical buys from FGG.
Still waiting on Tsar to finish rolling out, pre-ordered the tome but by far UBAD has most of my interest. I hope this isn't a product which gets shuffled off for a year or two.

Oh, it won't be. It's on my "to do" list right after I make sure both Tomes of Horror (Pathfinder and S&W versions) make it out before Gen Con as well as making sure that Slumbering Tsar 9 gets to the fans as fast as possible.
UBAD is also fairly well layed out already (tables and styles) with a boat-load of fixes from Matt to go in as well as some art selection.
By they way... I'm only going to do a book of tables on my current schedule of 1 every 7 years or so. (I also layed out a huge amount of the Mother of all Encounter Tables book back in the day. ; )

Lol, every 7 years doesn't seem to be too much of a time gap.
MoAET and MoA Treasure Tables are resources I bring to my games every session. Both books are invaluable tools and hats off for being part of the team to get them out.
Tables may not be as flashy as some other kinds of product but they are very helpful if you are swamped as a DM - plus a few rolls can serve as seed ideas or if you are hitting a wall. I have had more than a few which expanded out to bigger and better things, both from MoAET and MoATT. That's why UBAD - in the right hands - would hold incredible value to me.

Good news, everyone!
The Complete Tome of Horrors for PF RPG is completed, edited, and proofed (okay, there're are probably a few typos here and there but I think we got most all of them--except for one left in for tradition's sake ;-) ).
So what does that mean. Well, that means I'll be sending the entire bundle to Chuck for layout today (he's already been working on the first few letters). That also means I got through about the first 20 pages of ST9 last night. Woohoo! I'm working on an adventure again! I've never been so happy to get back into a manuscript. Tome was fun and is super cool, but after looking at the same 750 stat blocks (actually 751 when all is said and done) multiple times, I find a yearning to get back into the adventure-design side of things.
About 60 pages to go in ST9, all maps are in,and all art is in except for one piece which is currently underway. That means by the time Chuck is through fiddling around with that little monster book of ours, ST9 will be sitting in his inbox ready to go for final layout and production. Tsar is back in business!!
Once again, thank you to everyone that has been following Slumbering Tsar for your patience while we pushed Tome of Horrors Complete through production. A super cool monster book is going to come out of the deal, and a lot of conversion work for Tsar was completed in the process as I can now just pull stat blocks straight from my master documents instead of having to do their conversions from scratch. So progress was made on Tsar in the interim. Anyway, we're back on schedule now so I would expect to start seeing Tsar releases again sometime around late June/early July (depending on how fast Chuck can get through the TOHC layout).
Thanks again!
Greg

Greg, do you know if those of us who pre-ordered ToHC (PF version) will be able to pick it up at Gen Con?
I ask because the situation with the pre-order not charging for shipping has made me nervous.
I don't think you will. At least there are no plans that I am aware of. I don't think Bill is going to be at Gen Con (last I heard), and my own plans are far from set at this point.
That said, Bill will be managing the shipping at the time of publication and will be notifying folks. In the US it's a flat box rate (I'm thinking $4.00 for some reason, but I could be wrong). Bill will be able to clarify and probably has somewhere, I just don't know the exact thread to point you to.
I know our order process got kind of cross-wired on this (we seem to have gotten a little anxious to get the order buttons active before getting all the kinks worked out), but rest assured it'll all come out in the wash. Like Necromancer did before us, FGG will make sure we take care of all our customers, even if we have to untangle some stuff in the process. Bill is going to be a super busy camper about that time getting all the shipping worked out plus getting with all the people who ordered before the PF and S&W buttons were activated so we know which one they're wanting.

Just got back from Dallas after a very successful North Texas RPG Con. Doug Rhea and the boyz should be congratulated on one of the best cons I have ever attended. Matt and I got to play all weekend with the likes of Dennis Sustare, Erol Otus and many other celebrities. Lots of you guys were there too, and the Mythus Tower room was rockin' with people all weekend. I am a litle behind on shipping again, but will try to get everything out this Friday that was ordered while I was away. Special thanks to Jon Hershberger and Alan Grohe for helping us out selling books at the show (BlackBlade), and to all the folks who put the Con together. We will be back for sure. If you ever want to hit a Con where old school gamers just play all day and night for 4 days, this is your show. We even had a few younger folks to complement the grognard patrol, including one very special little 11 year old girl who handled herself quite well (we had to cut off her doughnut supply to avoid the sugar high though). I played with 4 kids under the age of 15 at the show, and all were engaged, polite and quite intelligent. I am pretty tired, I have to admit--I DM'ed 3 8-10 hour sessions for as many as 15 players at a time; Matt did 4 sessions with as many as 18 at a time. It was crazy, but believe it or not, we stayed on task and got some very productive exploration done. Dennis Sustare got the "Saturday Night Special" magic item from me (a magic axe, +1/+4 vs undead, alows turing ability as a 4th level cleric) and John January got the big prize from Matt (+2 cloak of protection). Mythus Tower is the onmgoing campaign run for 3 years now at the Con (and only at the Con), so folks character sheets were saved by Matt and we will take up where we left off next year!
Next up is PaizoCon, where Dawn, Skeeter and I will all be in attendance. Clark will be joining us this year to showcase his new material in preparation for release in 2012. Oh yeah, everyone welcome Dawn Fischer to the FGG team. Dawn will be making sure that all of us use correct grammar and spelling (we are not always the best at that), and helping improve quality of all the FGG products.
Ok, off to school camp, I shall return Friday and start packing books. Thanks again everyone for your patronage, patience, and making this a fun job. Its people like those I played with this weekend that are the reason I do this stuff.

I have a special request of the postmonster Ross, or whomever is in charge of the day to day tinkering of this awesome website.
Please add a tag to tsathogga (Bill Webb) that tells folks he is the publisher for Frog God Games.
I (and many others) would really appreciate this. Thank you in advance.
Yeah that would help.

Tome of Horrors Complete update!
I'm currently fixing up the pages around the Slaad Lords and plan on having all of the final rough proofs to our editors by tomorrow night.
I hope that everyone else has been enjoying PaizoCon while I've been slaving away in the layout pits.

I think you only get a tag if you sell through Paizo. I got "grandfathered in" with Necro in my tag because of my age-old relationship with Paizo and appearance as a judge for years in RPG Superstar (well deserved, let me tell you, you read 1000s upon 1000s of wondrous items, oy vey). I just got Legendary added when I signed up to sell through Paizo.com. I don't remember if FGG is selling through Paizo.com or not. If they are, then contact Vic.

Yep FGG sells their products here. All their PFRPG and Sword and Sorcery products are sold here on Paizo. At least the PDF's not sure if print copies are or not.

A question for you guys...what would the audience here think of one-nighht stand modules. You know, the play for 5 hours things. 12 encounters, couple maps, cool art. Maybe $5 pdf and $9 pod. 24-36 pages each.
What if we did a lot of them?
What if we did a few a year only?
What levels would be good/bad?
What if cover art was repeated to lower pricepoint?
What else would make these good or bad?
My answer to all of the above, is in this time and age, I want quality before quantity. I think I already have quantity to last me several human lifetimes, so I prefer something good to something rushed.
Also, I don't get to play or DM as often as I would like.

Got home late last night from PaizoCon, after a great weekend. Special thanks to the Reaper Miniatures folks, who not only taught my 6-year old to paint, but helped him paint 15 miniatures over a 14 hour period. I kept trying to take him back, but they insisted on keeping him. We had a great time running SW games all weekend, and a number of the staff played some Pathfinder as well. Lisa and Erik were gracious hosts as always, they are a total class act, and we all owe them a lot for keeping "real D&D" alive. I got to hang out some with Clark Peterson as well, it wqas great to see my old buddy, and I'll be plugging his stuff soon (you know it will be good).
I was able to pack up everything I could tonite and wil ship tomorow. Those of you who ordered Splinters 7-9 will have to wait a bit longer, as the books are still at press. Rest assured I will ship them as soon as they arrive. Two cons in 10 days has me fried, but I am recovering well, and should feel healthy as a horse in no time flat.

Splinters 7 and 8 got lost in the printer process, and are going to be delayed a bit. Don't panic, its all set now, just a week or two delay.
MOST IMPORTANT!!! Tome of Horrors Complete is only for sale for 16 more days. I will only print this monster once, so order now, to get this tremendous piece of RPG history. This will be the LARGEST monster book ever made to date, weighing in at over 800 pages, and once its gone, its gone. I am pretty sure you could resell it on Ebay in 2 years for much more than it costs (not that you would want to), but since I have to arange printing, I am cutting it off as soon as it goes to press (estimated as the first week in July), and I am not printing extras. To reiterate:
Never before have all three volumes been updated to the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game in their entirety and released as a single, hardbound tome. Monsters from the aberrant to the yellow musk zombie appear in this book, and everything in between—that’s over 700 monsters. But that’s not all; the appendices bring just as much to the table from templates to hazards to a treatise on poison variations in nearly 50 types of venomous snakes. There are also new feats, planes of existence, strange beings beyond mortal ken, and plenty of charts dividing the compiled monsters by CR, type, and terrain.
But it’s more than just that, because the entire compilation has also been updated to the Swords & Wizardry rules for release as another version of the volume. And in this version, the space freed up by the smaller stat blocks is filled by sample monster lairs and encounters with the hundreds of different monster types featured in the tome. Never before has this massive selection of monsters been updated and brought with these resources all together in one place for use in your own game. And before any Pathfinder players cry foul over the monster lair additions in the Swords & Wizardry version of The Tome of Horrors Complete, this lair information will be available as a free download at the Frog God Games website talesofthefroggod.com for you to use as well.
So you’ve got the monsters—both from the original edition of the game and new,—the templates, the multiple appendices on rules, planes, and the n’gathau, and a truckload of sample encounters and lairs to throw at your players, all together in one easy-to-use book. That’s why we call it The Tome of Horrors Complete!
The Tome of Horrors Complete sample lairs will be included in the Swords and Wizardry volume and as a free download for the Pathfinder volume! This will be comprised of hex-style lairs by a writing team led by John Stater!
Order now at http://www.talesofthefroggod.com/index.php/products/the-tome-of-horrors

Hello folks, sorry for a lack of updates here, but I was all lazy and sleeping over a little sever food poisoning. Sorry, won't let it happen again.
OK. Neatest thing to report today about the upcoming tome is that the final PDF will weigh-in at slightly over 150 MB.
