The Gamers is quite simply the seminal modern gamer movie. Dead Gentlemen Productions, an acting troupe based right here in Seattle, brought the funny side of gaming to our TVs just like Dork Tower and The Order of the Stick did to our comics. So when DGP approached Paizo about an alliance to bring the Dead Gentlemen product line to a larger audience, it didn't take us long to agree.
So, now you can find the complete line of DGP products right here on paizo.com. In addition to their two movies, The Gamers and Demon Hunters: Dead Camper Lake, we've got a few other DGP products that have never before been offered on paizo.com, including their popular line of T-Shirts.
Check out the "Am I Still Unconscious?" tee from The Gamers, and the When Life Gives You Lemons shirt from Dead Camper Lake. And don't overlook the "Shirt" shirt, which will be featured in the upcoming The Gamers: Dorkness Rising movie sequel! Almost all of the Dead Gentlemen T-shirts come in sizes Small to XXXL—and they even offer women's tees for those looking for a more feminine fit.
We also have a limited supply of DGP Dice Bags to store all your cool plastic polyhedrons in. It also makes a fashionable slipcase for your DVD copy of The Gamers!

Peace and smiles :)

From what I've heard from DGP, Dorkness Rising will be released at GenCon this summer. Details on how it will be released from then on have yet to be revealed. You know that you will hear it here first on paizo.com as soon as we know something.

I think I can help with this. The answer to when Dorkness Rising will be released is: We don't know yet. The official movie distributor has yet to be acquired, however, we have been approached in the past couple of weeks by a couple of theatrical distributors. Just a few more weeks of touching up and we'll be ready to start shopping it around.
We were very pleased to show the advanced cut at Gen Con Indy this year, and the response was stellar, so we're racing to the finish line to get it out. The reason why it's taken so long to get it released is because we decided to take the time and do it right. We don't want to cut corners, and that means we're not going to self-distribute. That also means that you should see it in a much wider market. We're excited to get the movie to Paizo as soon as we can.

Thanks for chiming in Don! Much of the Paizo booth crew were invited to the first sneak peak of Dorkness Rising and I can say that I haven't laughed that hard in quite some time! We can't wait to get the product into the warehouse and get it out to everyone. Trust me, you will know when the DVD is available because we will assail you with blogs and whatnot. It will be hard to miss!

this thread should not die.
...so they can make more movies.
Well do I have good news for YOU. We just announced this week the release of THE GAMERS: DIRECTOR'S CUT that should be out the very last week of November! THe DGP guys decided that the overwhelming success of the DORKNESS RISING screenings at GenCon would sell out the already limited stocks of the original GAMERS DVD (and it will!), so they will remaster, rescore and totally redo the original and make it bigger! Better! STRONGER!
THE GAMERS: DIRECTOR'S CUT will contain 70 minutes of new footage, all kinds of new and revamped subtitle languages, a new GAMERS short feature, previously unreleased episoded of "Dead Gentlemen Presents" comedy sketch routines, new audio commentary tracks, and much much more. All this on one dual-layer DVD, with new packaging and - yes, it's true! - new PAIZO content!
*gasp!*
THE GAMERS: DIRECTOR'S CUT will be item number DED100, and sell for about $19.95. Stores and distributors are taking preorders as we speak, or you can get them right here as soon as they come available. SPread the word!
