So how are these for those who picked it up aand how it works with the base Planet set?
Thanks
Tom
Really fun! Plenty of nice landscape tiles for the moon with the trenches and craters you can see in the pictures, as well as pools of pinkish acid to mix things up. For the icy moon side, a lot of rugged terrain, some frozen-over puddles of water, some tiles to show the smoldering remains of a starship crash, some transition tiles between barren and icy moons, and really cool looking rivers of lava. A lot of dynamic imagery in this set. One thing I really wish the latter side had were more simple landscape tiles, showing flat, snowy fields. Most of the icy moon tiles are a hazard of some sort, which limits the kinds of maps you can piece together without the thing beginning to look like a missle testing test. :p It's a small nitpick, and the tiles themselves look gorgeous, and I've made several interesting maps with them I can't wait to use. This set should also offer some really excellent variety if paizo decides to do an arctic/tundra Wilderness expansion to go with their Quest for the Frozen Flame AP coming up.
In short, I love this set, and totally recommend grabbing it for your table.
