I never considered Rope Trick for a miniature previously but having this in hand, I'm totally on board with it. It looks great and is practical. The thin rope can tilt slightly, but it is minor.

Fear of Breakage

This really is an awesome mini, but I'm not sure I'm ever going to be able to take it to a game. The rope is pencil thin and it just looks like it's ready to break.

Nice idea, but too flimsy

GOOD:
The colors are great. The idea of making a spell effect is cool.
The base size is actually MEDIUM and this mini only replaces a medium mini in the booster. It is large from the height though (2 squares).

BAD:
Although he rised rope piece is a little flexible, it will probably break off when falling from the table onto stone or wood floor. Also the disc on the top is a little too small (and slightly tilted sideways).
You CAN place a small or medium mini on it, but any movement will dislocate it.

UGLY:
This could have been a five star mini if done properly.

Edit:
This piece has fallen off the table and promtly broken off at the base of the rope.
I am in favor of spell effects, but a piece that breaks at the first opportunity is pretty pointless. I will subtract 1 star and leave it at 2 stars. :-(
