I feel like the clockwork golem should have been more "clockwork". I very much dislike that it is constructed primarily out of wood rather than metal. It also has a drunken stagger that makes it look like it is tipping over to one side.

Cool lumbering golem figure :D I don't really get point of rating these miniatures though. I mean, painting seems to be sometimes great, sometimes not so great, this time it was but it seems to vary by same individual figure so subjective reactions to miniatures should vary a lot.

Neither wood nor clockwork...

The design is off. This is a strange crossbreed between wood golem and clockwork golem but ends up being neither.
The size is good, the pose and sculpt are not.
The coloration is simple, the eyes being red dots.

A real clockwork golem should be all metal.
The image in the Bestiary looks different and better.
