I may not be looking hard enough, but I can't seem to find the range for throw anything. I know it depends on what you are throwing and how heavy it is (as well as if it resists). I did find a chart on line, but I don't know if it is cannon for the game.
Most weapons that can be used at a range have their increments included in the basic weapon stats within the Equipment table of the Core Rulebook.
There are feats you can choose and magical properties you can imbue into ranged weapons to increase their maximum base range increment, though I wouldn't entirely recommend it, since the base range is fairly generous.
If you want an accurate Equipment Table chart, I would recommend this site page, as the stats for the items are directly taken from the Book itself.
Hope that helps!

Thank you Darksol this is helpful. For the rules I found go to this site. To see the chart I found for throwing. It says Pathfinder, but I am not sure considering this will give a lot of melee weapons better range than most ranged weapons.

How would it give any thrown weapon a better range? All ranged weapons can go up to 10 range increments, and the smallest ranged range increment I can think of off the top of my head is sling, which is 50 ft. 50x10=500 feet vs the best thrown weapon in terms of distance, the javelin at 30x5=150 feet.

The chart I found uses the weight of the object being thrown vs the characters strength and is then multiplied by a number specified by how 'throwable' the item is. If it is balanced and crafted to be thrown it could get up to 300 feet...from how I read it anyway.
I wouldn't use that chart. I've never seen it before and wouldn't trust it much. Stick to the chart Darksol linked. If it has a range increment it can be thrown or it's a projectile weapon.

Unfortunately I didn't see anything for 'throw anything feats there. The other chart does say 'Pathfinder', but again, I don't know if it is legit.
I have made a fighter who only uses shields with the Equipment Tricks Feat and Throw anything, so as to Throw his shield at opponents (yes, the Captain America move). I had this idea for reasons other than the Captain though. There was some combats that I have fought opponents with one hand on my sword w/o removing it from it's scabbard and shield bashed them into submission...That is kind of what I am going with. I just want more flexibility.
If there is a chart (known to be legit) for throwing improvised items I have yet to see it. Which could mean I overlooked it...
