Having just finished running a Serpents Skull campaign, I wanted to thank you for the great paper minis. It was good having just the right minis for each encounter. They look great, and worked a treat.
This artist always produces an amazing product. This time is no different. His style and ability to bring monsters and NPC's to life at such a small scale is astounding. As a matter a fact it's so astounding it raises the bar for paper mini's everywhere.
This year when I compete at Iron GM I will use the best of his minis to produce yet another perfect score!
These look awesome. Really great work on this set, this one in particular and the whole series together. Can't wait to see which set Todd works on next.
So glad all 6 are out. I have only bought and constructed the 1st set so far but fully plan on doing all 6. Best art I have seen in the paper mini line as well as the fastest turn around. Great work Todd!
These minis are fantastic. Started using them halfway through RtR and would have loved to have them right from the start. Nice always having the appropriate opponents that the PCs can see. No more "No, no. Just pretend the skeleton is a boggard! Trust me." :)
Also great for any homebrew big encounters added where you can just print out multiple copies of the same page. Printed multiples of all the city tribes from CoSS for some truly memorable encounters. ("Did he really just put 25 troglodyte minis on the map?!?!") :)
I don't assign artists new projects until they've completed their current ones. I know my Kingmaker artist is drawing trolls and assassin vines as we speak, and I have plans... Yes, plans... *plot, plot, plot*
However, I have a small suggestion. In future sets, is it possible to have all the folds lines in a row on the paper? It is really easy to put together when you can just score, fold and glue an entire row together (look at RotRL set for an example of what I mean), as opposed to have to score every figure individually. I would prefer to cut off the extra white space on the figures for this utility.
And I vote for LoF to be finished first....we have been waiting patiently for a long time for this one, and from a selfish perspective, I am just about to start running Jackal's Price :)
I gotta say, I just downloaded these for a good serpentfolk mini or five and this whole package is just spot on. Fantastic. I love the artwork and will look out for more by Todd Westcot.
