Exploring ancient burial grounds and protecting the corpses of the honored dead from unholy transformation are standard fare for bold adventurers. But no Game Master wants to spend valuable game time drawing every looted grave and undead-haunted sepulcher. Fortunately, with Paizo Publishing’s latest GameMastery Map Pack, you don’t have to! Inside, you’ll find 18 captivating 5" × 8" map tiles, all specially coated to allow you to use wet erase and dry erase markers, then remove ink with ease!
This set includes:
Catacombs
Noble's Crypt
Ghoul Lair
Defiled Mausoleum
Soldier's Tomb
Game Masters shouldn’t waste their time sketching maps every time an adventure calls for a haunted tomb. With GameMastery Map Pack: Crypts, you’ll be ready next time your players go dungeon crawling! Plus, combine this set with GameMastery Flip-Mat: Necropolis to show your crypts in the context of a huge cemetery!
For use with all tabletop roleplaying and miniatures games and usable by experienced GMs and novices alike, this product fits perfectly into any Game Master’s arsenal.
Good GMs can never have too many maps at their disposal, and Paizo’s GameMastery Map Packs provide high-quality gridded maps for use with both RPGs and miniatures games.
GOOD:
Combines with "Flip-Mat: Necropolis" but can also stand on it's own.
You can lay them side by side to create a graveyard, as the surrounding area is shown on most tiles.
Very evocative.
BAD: Fewer than 25 left!
UGLY: -
If you plan on exploring the resting places of the dead, this is for you
Should be pretty useful with the different locations. For me, the best map packs are the ones that all the tiles are interchangeable like the sewers so that you can always change the configuration instead of it being static.
Product description has been updated with a description of how Map Pack: Crypts works with Flip-Mat: Necropolis.
I love this new synergy between the map packs and the flip mats (as someone could probably tell by looking at what I did with my subscription - I now have a dual maps subscription, which will give me an uber-necropolis).
I'll have to write that into my epic game. Atropal, anyone? :)
(though frankly all undead are severely weakened when the party has death ward and sheltered vitality ... I guess it's gonna have to be an atropal sorcerer dumping disjunctions on their head ...)
Product image and description have been updated to match the finished product, and sample images have been added. We'll add an image showing how these tiles work with the Flip-Mat soon.
Love the maps and the fact that they work together. Let me also add that I like the wipe off format for the tiles. Now my request, we need a field with a festival, bazaar, misc tents theme. Just my vote.
