I have a question about these. I own a few of these and use them very little since I have a blank chessex mat. I wanted to try this one, the woodlands, but I like to map stuff on a sheet of graph paper first. Is there a sheet sized download of these anywhere that I can print and write on?

I have a question, I dont own any maps, i make my own, but is it worth buying professionally made one? (mine kinda aren't the best..)
You know that is a good suggestion about premapping on graph paper. I bet I could use my digital camera and take a photo and use that as part of my planning. Thanks applezauceman. I had been disappointed that I wasn't getting PDF along with the maps.
Woodlands is now listed as "Backorder". I guess it really means it is now out of stock and gone for good? Looks like now would be a good time to get one of the copies remaining at other stores, then…

Um... you are correct. Unless we find a box buried in the warehouse, these are now gone. We'll correct the status on Tuesday.
For some reason, the entry for Flip-Mat: Woodlands disappeared from the GameMastery Flip-Mats listing (even if I click "Show unavailable products").
I like to be able to reference out of print products from time to time (such as when I want to ensure I have every possible item in a product line), so I hope this can be corrected.

It unfixed itself again. I was only able to find this page via searching for it directly.
Also, just got a copy of the Woodlands map via buying one of the few remaining Treasure Chests for sale elsewhere. I'm much more pleased with it than the overly dark Forest map, which looks like a nighttime view.

Four left at this point. I ordered when there were five left.
The woodlands and forest maps match up fairly nicely except for the forest being darker. I think I'd have to explain that as stepping into the shadow of a mountain or clouds when you go from one to the other.
They don't reprint old maps, but they do make new ones. Forest was the replacement for this one, but sadly the colors turned out too dark. Works out well for a subterranean or Eeevil shadowy forest, though. Deep Forest is the latest version and has much better reviews than Forest.
We do not typically reprint our Flip-Mats, rather they are reborn in a new form similar in theme.
