A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 5th to 9th level characters (Tiers: 5–6 and 8–9).
The Ruby Prince of Osirion sends you to the Parched Dunes to find what became of a secret Pathfinder expedition sent there to recover artifacts for the Ruby Prince himself. What you find there may very well end the Pathfinder Society as you know it.

Rebel's Ransom is a superb cinematic dungeon crawl overcoming more traps and deadly puzzles that bad guys. And those bad guys are well places and quite challenging, especially if the players are having trouble with the puzzles.
The over land travel to get to the Tomb is a nice addition, putting the characters in an unfamiliar environment that could impact their effectiveness at the Tomb.
I just finished reading this for the second time, and will be running it in two weeks. Wow! I can see this one running long if the GM doesn't keep players focused, but I'm really looking forward to running this one. Finally some puzzles, and good ones to boot! Plus cool, thematic dungeon with a reason to exist. Maybe a gimmie premise for Osirion, but full of awesome!
I noticed one error:
Spoiler:
Gamemastery Flip-Mat: Desert is erroneously identified as Map Pack: Towns (or similar). Cut 'n paste FTL! :P
This was an excellent adventure. The group I run is used to just running in and killing everything in sight and this one made them really think. This mod was one of my favorite so far.
This is one of the best written scenarios to come along. It's a shining example of the Pathfinder ruleset. Unfortunately for players not used to smart opponents using excellent tactics, this scenario can be deadly. This is in my top 3 of all time, and I expect it to remain there for years to come. My only complaint is that in the 5 times I've run this, only one group has made it all the way through. It's simply too long for a 4 hours slot.
Watching Jason run this at Dragon*Con was an amazing.
This was my favorite of the new PFS Scenarios released at Gencon. It's an old skool dungeon with interesting puzzles and it was great fun to run. Jason Bulmahn hit all the right notes here. Recommended.
Played this as a rogue with someone who had a Multiclass Life Oracle as our healer. Had the GM not rolled low at the end, 3 party members would have died. Adventure assumes presence of full Cleric.
