I just subscribed, and this was my first issue. It arrived last Friday and I spent long times on the hammock this weekend with this REAL magazine and it was wondrous to have another generic monthly dedicated to my version of the World's Most Popular yada yada.
REALLY impressed here. I know exactly why I didn't subscribe earlier, I figured nothing could hold a candle to my beloved print copies of Dragon. I'm happy to report I was wrong, and if this is ANY indication of where the Kobolds are going (and they stick with 3.5) I am along for the ride no questions asked.
GREAT JOB Mr. BAUR & FRIENDS!

DM Jeff, thank you for the kind words, it always helps to know that the magazine is working out.
For the European and Australian readers, I hope to have a small second shipment of KQ available at paizo.com soon. Emphasis on small.
Every issue I keep thinking I've printed enough, and every issue, the subscription numbers go up. Maybe we are doing something right. :)

Well I'm happy to say that mine shipped, so at least there were enough copies for me to get one. selfish, i know, but it's good stuff and worth being selfish about. now, if only you would print adventures it'd be perfect.
on a side note, i just had a chance to read 4 and 5 and they were phenominal. The drunken Fey are going right into my game, and the ecology articals were a good read. well worth the price.
continue the good work and the publishing of quality product, and I'm subscribing as soon as i get paid in a week. i don't want to go throught the "oh no, not enough copies for me to get one." fiasco again. learned my lesson.

A second shipment has been delivered to Paizo, and I'm sure it will appear in the store inventory soon.
There's just not quite enough copies of this issue to go around.
They're already in, and all but one copy have already been sold. Our distributor also has a small amount of stock in their East Coast warehouse, so we'll start ordering from them when we sell the last copy in our warehouse—but it will take us a week or so longer to fulfill those orders, since they have to come from across the country.

... There's a part of the checkout process where you have the option to use a CC instead....
I can't seem to find this option when I try to subscribe. it will still only let me choose paypal. is it possible I'm doing something wrong? I get to step 2/3 (payment method), and under payment method, it just says paypal.

Can someone estimate for me the %amount of 4e stuff in Kobold? I appreciate the look, feel, and quality of the magazine, but I don't want it if its about 4e. Myself and 20 local gamers have sworn-off 4e, considering it a different game that we don't want to play.
Right now, it's 0%. Only Wolfgang can answer for the future, though.

I can't believe more people haven't picked up Kobold Quarterly yet! You have your great campaign material and adventures covered by Paizo, but Kobold Quarterly takes over from where DRAGON left off. If you used to purchase DRAGON you should really pick this one up. It might even have a bit of Pathfinder stuff in there in the future.
