Spell: Locate Weakness with Spells and Spellstrike

Rules Questions

I'm wondering whether the spell Locate Weakness works with critical hit damage from both touch spells and/or with the Magus' Spellstrike.

Locate Weakness:
You can sense your foes’ weak points, granting you greater damage with critical hits. Whenever you score a critical hit, roll the attack’s damage dice (but not extra or precision damage dice) twice and take the highest result.

I would think that it should, since the "extra or precision damage dice" is simply the damage that isn't already multiplied on a crit, such as the 1d6 from flaming or shocking.

Thoughts?

I'm not entirely sure, but it sounds like it would to me, provided it is a spell that would normally be able to crit, which Spellstrike implies it is. I may be wrong, but it seems to me like it should work alright.

As long as the spell in question is capable of scoring a critical hit, I see no reason why this wouldn't work. It never says that it only applies to weapons or and natural attacks or anything like that. So if you crit with a flaming burst longsword charged with a shocking grasp whilst sneak attacking, the longsword's damage would be rolled twice and the shocking grasps damage would be rolled twice, but neither the flaming burst property's bonus 1D6 or 1D10 would be rolled twice, and the sneak attack dice would not be rolled twice.
