Character Manager Software

Advice

Most of my PC's in my game use laptops or whatnot at the table, and it would be much easier if they could click a button if I say "You are now sickened" that would automatically update their attack rolls/damage rolls, etc, so that we wouldn't waste five minutes every time they attack saying "Oh, well, +2 from enlarge, but -2 power attack, oh but +1 from higher ground..."

Is there anything like this out there? Would help times a million.

You can do that kind of stuff and much more in Hero Labs

I was about to say Herolabs, but Joey got here first.

Thanks. A bit pricey, but I'd like to check it out regardless.

There's also some elements of this in PCgen (look under inventory- temporary resources, make your selections, and then go to the character sheet)

The Only Sheet does this type of thing perfectly. Conditions, spells, custom effects and much more.

The link only takes you to the Paizo homepage. Anyhow, I have to vouch for Herolab on this one. It will calcuate the bonuses and penalties for a rageing, power-attacking, enlarged, bull strengthed, cleaving barbarian with a few simple clicks. Plus it doubles as a gp value calculator for magic items.

I started a program called CCP (Character Creation Program) - Pathfinder RPG Edition, but haven't worked on this in quite a well. Basically the APG made my original concept to get thrown out the window as I wanted to automate as much as I could. But now I really need to go back and stop the automation as much and allow more manual entry. But might still be worth you having a look at here

Hero Lab is totally worth it. I'd suggest using the free trial version. It is also the only legal way to generate a summoner :)

Hero Lab floats the boat. A bit on the pricey side, but it has the added advantage of being an official licensed product, meaning that closed content is available.
