I am not sure it was in the rulebook, but Mike and Vic have both said a hero may only receive the reward for completing a scenario/adventure/adventure path.

I would expect this is to stay in balance for the duration of the adventure path RotRL but since it is a co-op game you could also play with whatever house rules concerning rewards you want. :)

I think it's been said a couple times on the forum that if it says it stops all damage it can be used for anything, if it says all combat damage it can only be combat damage (with no modifier like fire mental or etc.)

so if it says prevent all kinds, then I guess the only one that doesn't make RPG sense is how whatever armor stopped damage done directly to a brain. otherwise explosive can be stopped by armor, I mean look at what the bomb tech people wear, a crapton of armor. :-p

1) correct

2) there are locations that can have cards at them after closing, the one you were at was not one of them.

3) this I am unsure on, sorry

4) that's how it was explained to me, yes (also there is a thread here somewhere that talks about multiple explores)

hahaha I am already enjoying the BLEEP out of this and it's just the base stuff, so I know you guys have only got more imagination and idea's to show us!

a random location huh, like instead of a card list you take say 3 of each type of card that can go into locations, shuffle them and then deal out 15 random cards to the location instead of having assigned card types... now that could be interesting. the location could be some weird chaotic vortex place so you never know what will be in there from game to game...

so many good ideas that can work with this game, I see a long play-life for me, I hope it is doing very well that they might consider a more robust release schedule next "season" instead of just a base set and one adventure path.

Thanks for the answer!

I think the way it has been worded before is something like "you may only receive a reward for a scenario once"

so if you went back and completed scenarios you have already played when doing the adventure path, you could not get the reward again (unless you want since It is your game :-p).

if you played only 2part of the scenario's in an adventure path you are allowed to go back and solo or play the scenario(s) you missed and still get that reward. (in the case you joined an adventure part of the way through or just played them out of order from the adventure path card.

oh no it's good to speculate and come up with homebrew stuff, it's just real funny this being my first "adventure" type board game and seeing a tone of posts here and BGG about what they should add or do, it shows great enthusiasm for the game already.

I also fear that those people don't burn out on the game because the stuff they are thinking about doesn't happen right away and they end up poopooing the game or something.

yeah I saw the other thread with the explanation from Vic, thanks guys/gals!

so which sleeves do people think would be the best for me to buy?

is shuffling with sleeves weird? i have never played a deck builder (or magic/card games) where I had sleeved cards so I don't know what the "feel" of it is like.

I would like to have a tighter fit and not a lot of overhang or anything, so suggestions on brands would do wonders for newbie sleevers like me!

thanks

I like the idea of the splitting off adventure where you pick which place to go, giving you a lot more replay ability, I really hope they have taken some liberties in making this game to do cool stuff like that as the adventure decks go on, though I think everyone's enthusiasm has caused a lot of "they should do this" before just letting the game breath a little, which is a blessing... and a curse, haha

does this rule read to you guys as "attempts at least one of them" to mean that the players turn character fails a check, the other player at the location can try the check also?

it has been said you cannot re-check, but to me that implies the same character checking again, because a different character while making the same check isn't re-checking, it's his own first time. maybe I am not understanding, someone help with that also?

also if it says banes, I would think they meant just banes, though that would be a weird typo.

so... what's the latest news about when these puppies are going to be available to buy (and if they could be part of the subscription)?
