Pathfinder Chronicles: Dark Markets—A Guide to Katapesh (OGL)Paizo Inc.Print Edition Unavailable Add PDF $15.99 Non-Mint Unavailable Decent Overallrmbrodeu —The Guide to Katapesh will be a useful addition to my Legacy of Fire Campaign. Overall I thought it was well written with solid information. I would have liked to see a large fold out map similar to the Guide to Korvosa. Many of the levels for the characters in the city seem low, but that is a minor inconvenience and I can be easily fixed. I just thought it odd for a city of 200,000 plus that all the character levels presented were 10 or lower. Obviously not all of levels of characters were given like the PactMasters. Pathfinder #8—Curse of the Crimson Throne Chapter 2: "Seven Days to the Grave" (OGL)Paizo Inc.Add PDF $19.99 Print Edition Out of print Best Plague Adventurermbrodeu —The plot was well written and a real joy to run. The plague in the city and how it was handled in the campaign makes this one of the best written adventures I have run and read. The first printing of this book has a terrible binding that will fail you in a short time. I hope they increase the strength of the binding to prevent this from happening in the future printings.
The game carries on the traditions of the 3.5 system very well with positive improvements to game mechanics. Unfortunately, my main beef is with the quality of the book as I stated. Just like the fourth edition books I have that were also rated low based of there quality (cheap ink and paper, ink smudges). This book does not suffer those issues. I hope Paizo strengthens there bindings. Pathfinder #11—Curse of the Crimson Throne Chapter 5: "Skeletons of Scarwall" (OGL)Paizo Inc.Add PDF $19.99

Non-Mint Unavailable Fun Adventurermbrodeu —My players and I had a lot of fun going through this adventure. I dare to say that it was our favorite adventure out of the Curse of the Crimson throne AP. The Shoanti tribes made for some enjoyable role playing at the table and it was of great relief to break free from the city to venture into the world to gather knowledge about the foe that is to be faced. One of the best out of the series. |
