tl;dr most of the comments. my take:

I have always loved golarion goblins (and yes kender)! I love adding them as a core race. I even love the way ancestry seems to be adding up. Their new stats seem to make more sense to me. Penalty to wis? That should have been in 1e!

HOWEVER..... the way you guys are adding goblin adventurers seems hamfisted at best.

agreed. this would help make it idiot proof, especially for rigid GM's


huh that is odd. if i get what you are saying..... that your max grit pool is still limited by your wis mod?

the oozemorph: i think this will be a blast for level dipping (aside from the "kitsune option"). but for playing the full class.... i see little appeal. it is even fun at higher levels, but i can't find a reason to really play it full 1-20.

sorry robert, you created a pretty cool thing, but i think you (and to be fair, the devs more than you since they run PFS) have created a FAQ nightmare for how each species interacts with this neat archetype for PFS. however kudos robert on making the original and giving us a unique playing option.

this is why home games are the best. for home games and a competent GM, the possibilities of species interacting with this archetype are pretty broad and allow for some truly cool builds.

Well my phone deleted my long post. Will redo later. For now, no familiars in the game. I play on Orien server. Look up Mylhendir there.


Both Narnia and mononoke suggest traits that the awaken spell does not grant, anthropomorphic traits and supernatural powers respectively.
