Last session we fought against a monster with DR 10/magic.
I was using a +4 defending warhammer (thank Moradin for Divine Bond!) and I choose to shift the +4 bonus to the AC.

Now to hit and to damage I treated it like a perfect weapon (+1 to hit, no bonus to damage), but what about DR: is still the warhammer considered a magic weapon and bypass the DR or not?

Edit: and what if the DR should be X/Adamantine: if i reduce the weapon bonus below +4 (the minimun to bypass adamantine DR) i still negate it or not?

thank you

Sorry to resume this old post, but I have a question about wind walk (and don't want to start a new thread)

Quote:

A wind walker can regain its physical form as desired and later resume the cloud form. Each change to and from vaporous form takes 5 rounds, which counts toward the duration of the spell (as does any time spent in physical form). As noted above, you can dismiss the spell, and you can even dismiss it for individual wind walkers and not others.

Now, without interupt the spell, can I choose to stop the change from vaporous to physical (or viceversa) or is it a thing that goes on independently from my will?

e.g. : I'm changing to vapour, let's say at the 3rd round of the process, but I want to remain physical (because a fight started): can I interrupt the change or I have to wait 7 round (2 to became gas and 5 to return physical)?

Alright, looks like I got too cute with the logic behind my explanation. Let me be clear...

Glitterdust kills invisibility and all the rules that go with it.
Glitterdust has no effect on other forms of concealment.
Glitterdust also makes it very difficult to hide and might blind you.

That is all... (as it is currently worded).

To kill all the doubts:

do the glitters emit light or do they reflet it?

Should a new invisibility make the glitters "disappear" like any other equipment part?

Glitterdust isn't an aberration among spells, it acts exactly in accordance with the rules. The only way it would be confusing is if you read into its effect something that it does not say it does.

It is a favored past time on the boards to argue that glitterdust has powers that the spell doesn't mention.

It is a persistent cloud effect!

It is a light effect!

It glows in the dark!

It has special immunity to invisibility!

It floats in the air around people!

It works against incorporeal creatures!

etc.

And what against a new invisibility? the glitter become invisible too? or not?

another question. what if someone under glitterdust became invisible? does Glitterdust still works or not?

I mean: glitterdust creates golden glitter on the subject(s) so you can see them as part of the subject equipment (like a sword or an hat). So a new invisibility should make them invisible too...or not?

It doesn't matter if the target turns invisible after the spell is cast, they will still remain outlined in glitter for the duration (unless dispelled).

not so sure about this part: after all glitterdust creates a cover of glitter on the subject...so they can be see as an object on it, just like a sword or an hat.

A new invisibility should cover all the creature, included what it's bringin whit it.

if I'm wrong please let me see how :)
