a bit disappointing that the oracle mysteries remastered in this book don't come with thematic feats...

I think aphorites are the type that gets basically no fanfare, but there would be a fair amount of backlash if it wasn't in the book, y'know? I know I would be upset but that's just me being an autistic little collector of things that wants to have all the outer planar lineages because it makes the happy chemicals go brr
massive mood, my autism wants the ancestry guide to be updated so the old ifrit can finally only be referenced as naari.

Oh.
Whoa.
That… that ain’t good!
It's SO GOOD! I love Liane Merciel's writing! I can't wait for the full novel!
And it's also very nice to read the Prophecies with extra annotations, setup on my book reader, comfortably laying on my couch in a nice blanket. :3 this one was written by erin roberts no?

praying for Player Core 3
On my way to ask for a PC3 with the premaster themed books player options so we can complete the 2.5 edition

Will the ashes and time oracles also be remastered, or will they stay forever stuck in the past?

James Jacobs wrote: I do hear that some folks want more 1st to 20th campaigns, and I hope we can do some again. They're not FOREVER off the table, but the reality is that it's healthier for Paizo for us to do four 3 part Adventure Paths a year than it is two 6 part ones. In the meantime, building a healthier and more balanced offering of low and high level ones with better guidance for linking them is my goal. What if there was one 1st to 20th adventure and two three-parters per year ?
ElementalofCuteness wrote: Tell me I am missing Rogue Resilient errata please someone... They've simply not added new errata for Player Core, we'll have to see if by the end of the year it will have been changed or not.

Well if the dragon is large it could easily impale a medium sized creature on its horn. Eventually it might need to move to other targets though. But with enough force could still get a stew-ish meal.

In the Player Core, Rogues are listed as getting a "crit success on a success" when they get expert in fortitude. Was this intentional or just something that was missed in the errata pass?
I support this question. It doesn't seem in accordance with what Paizo put out in the past and feels like a mistake that SHOULD get addressed ASAP
Was rogues getting a juggernaut adjacent effect on expert saves a mistake? This seems fairly unfair and not in accordance with design philosophy...
Was rogue getting an effect similar to juggernaut on expert saves a mistake?
Ooh I want an advanced version for the encounter building tables then...

Some of y'all seem to jump over this line:
Quote: "Let us be clear: Starfinder Second Edition is not an expansion for Pathfinder Second Edition. Both games are independent from one another, and Starfinder Second Edition is simply using the core rules engine that powers Pathfinder."

Cantrips losing modifiers is awful. One thing that I adored about pf2e, coming from 5e, is that even my low rolls did a decent amount of damage. Every player I talked to from the community I come from felt the same way, too. Now that's gone, it's right back to wonderfully terrible feeling cantrips of 5e, where you just low roll constantly and have no bonus.
Whiteboard math is great and all, but most players aren't math nerds who see a number and think averages. They see low dice rolls and feel like they did nothing in comparison to the martials.
I wish there was a place to give this feedback before it all went to print, but alas.
what about rolling high on the 3d4 cantrips
is that just something you've decided can't happen If you want to assume that then sure. But otherwise — if we're talking about a 1d6, with +4 modifier: a range of 5-10 is going to produce better emotional attachment than a 2-12. the minimum being more than double is pretty big, and the high being only 2 more in exchange... Yeah, no, I'd prefer the consistency. 3d4 is a range of 3-12, and you have more chances of it being higher than 5 on 3d4 than you had to roll a 1 on 1d6...
The chance to roll a 1 on 1d6 is 16,6666666...%. The chance to roll lower or equal to 5 on 3d4 is 15.625%.

James Jacobs wrote: drakkonflye wrote: The original Harrow deck used the 9 alignments and 6 attributes as their base. Now that alignment has been removed as of the Remaster, will there be changes to the Harrow deck to reflect that? Nope.
Those nine alignments and the features they represent all still have real-world definitions (law, chaos, good, evil, and neutrality). The Harrow itself is, despite being organized around the nine alignments and six abilities, non-edition specific—those concepts can work jest as well for any game or even for real life.
If we do someday republish the Harrow deck, we'd adjust the formatting of the one rules element in there (the harrowing ritual) to follow the remastered rules, and we'd likely make slight changes to those five words (maybe going with heroism, villainy, order, chaos, and unaligned, for example)... but the card art itself wouldn't need any changes whatsoever.
Unless, say, another decade passed and we got the urge to freshen thigns up with new art. After all, just as there are different artworks of numerous tarot cards in this world, there are different artworks in-world in Golarion of the Harrow. I'd be very down for that, and I might start using those words instead starting now

Since gnolls are getting renamed to kholos and gripplis to tripki, are catfolk, lizardfolk and ratfolk gonna be renamed to what they call themselves in universe too, ie, amurrun, iruxi and ysoki (ysoki would be great especially with starfinder 2e coming up around the corner...)
Question: how come this book still has the OGL at the back and not no license whatsoever as it was stated to?

Wait until one of subbies get one. It sounds like the page will go live 5 minutes after the Paizo keynote address at GenCon. Yep from what Logan was saying during Paizo Live June they are still deciding what might be in this document, either way I’m looking forward to this! The page is live and the free Core Preview PDF is targeted to drop August 3, the first day of Gen Con. If it's live why do I still get redirected to the Player Core page?

If folks want us to do more 6-part Adventure Paths... PLEASE let us know! The 3 part ones seem to be engaging people more and allow for more stories to be told in a year, and I'm hoping that we'll be able to settle into a rhythum that allows for more frequent higher level 3 part arcs, but if people do still want 6 part ones... we need to know. (And that includes seeing evidence in sales and reviews and the like for parts 4–6 of those Adventure Paths, not just requests at the front end.) I'd love to see more six parters, they are very exciting for my players. I'll make sure to drop reviews as soon as we finish book 4+s.

I have reasoning and lore setup for it, but I love following canon. Is there NOTHING on high level elemental locations in Golarion in this book?
Also, as for the Elemental Lords debate: I can't imagine them being true deities at all. They only have worshippers because people worship the elements. They are meant to be Guardians of the Planes... not gods themselves.
Demigod status, certainly, but deity status? Doubtful.
Just my two cents. If anyone knows anything, I'd appreciate it.
Elemental Lords ARE demigods. Demigods in the canon have the ability to grant spells to their followers, that's not a god only thing. They're even in the Demigods section of Gods & Magic...
Has it been delayed again? Why does the preorder say August now?
Will the existing primal dragons be reclassed as something else or will they remain as what they currently are?

Will there be new art again? Or a mix of new art and existing PF2 art?
Honest question (and maybe it's too early in the marketing), what benefits would an existing PF2 player or GM get from these new core sets? Atm, we're still launching PF2 in my area thanks to the lockdowns.
none, and you can still use the old ones. it's not a full revision, it's just a big book of errata and a rearrangement of three books into three different books.
This book couldn't come sooner! The wait is long and the hype is real!
Hi!
I've added the gms that I GM with in my event's page, but it doesn't seem to show up on their page? They both are noted as 'added' on my end. Anyone knows what I could do?

Oh heck yeah! This is up there with other player oriented source books. I'm sure it'll help to get our characters even more ingrained in Golarion. I'm so excited!
Why is it considerably more expansive in comparison to the other special edition books? (at least from a quick glance at the price difference)
Will there be a different subscription for the Special Edition line, similarly to the rulebooks? Also, will the Mwangi Expanse and Absalom books have different spines, just as they do in standard edition?

Will the GM screen for it available as a standalone purchase? I would very much like to have it, but I do no have 300 bucks to put on the gold edition.
This is cool, but I'm gonna keep using AoN + Foundry. AoN made it possible for me to play with players who didn't own the books, and to get some new people into the game. Also, I understand that they have to pay their employees, but I'm not gonna re-buy everything just to have access to it on the go...
Will the Extinction Curse coins ever come back? I would liked to get my hands on one of them as I am GM-ing it right now!
