On that note it seemed important to mention that though the Psychic currently has access to both Planar Ally and Planar Binding... no Magic Circles are on his spell list. ![]()

![]() Sara Marie, I Received my authorization tonight and just wanted to try to address this while there is still time. I sent Customer Service an email to suspend my Campaign Setting sub for the month but it has been authorized anyway. I realize that the email backlog is massive so and that's why I'm checking in here too. ![]()

![]() Since the Bard has already been brought up the Negotiator archetype from Champions of Balance seems like a really good option to what you may be envisioning. It replaces Bardic Knowledge and Lore Master for Hard Bargainer and Master of Rhetoric. These abilities net you a bonus equal to half of your Bard level to all Bluff, Diplomacy, Intimidate, Knowledge (Local), and Sense Motive checks and allows you to take ten on these checks too and take twenty a few times a day without taking additional time too. There are a few other fun abilities with the archetype too but here's the link if you're interested: Negotiator Bard ![]()

Does this mean that the Nidalese have become an ethnic group of their own? I just assumed that Nidal's ethnic make-up consisted mostly of Varisians when I read the Inner Sea World Guide entry and Nightglass. ![]()

![]() I really love the White Necromancer and am super glad I picked this one up Marc! The class itself may not fit into my home game right now, but at the very least I'll be adapting the White Necromancy ability into an Arcane Discovery for my friend. Negotiating with the dead sort of like bound Outsiders is such a fun idea and there is so much potential for roleplaying those interactions in our Carrion Crown game. ![]()

![]() If I had to guess with Gandalf... I think I'd go Cleric with Marshal tiers. Sun or Fire seem like reasonable choices for his first domain, I think I'd pick Nobility as his second. I also would probably pick human as his race because the even though the Istari were supposed to be akin to angels they became human, if immortal ones, when they came to middle-earth. ![]()

![]() Ghostbane Dirge is one spell you'll probably want to look at, I'd at least pick up a scroll or two to keep handy because it will make the difference between life and death. Blood Biography can also be very useful for some of the investigations you'll take part in too. For an inexperienced party this could be a really wonderful pick or just a fun roleplaying hook with your mystery too. ![]()

![]() The Tyrant's Whispers could also cast programmed image in another area of Renchurch and give them visions of themselves failing to save the Count. The great part about this is that when the haunt initially goes off nothing happens... at least as far as the pc's are concerned. Red herrings can be really unsettling that way. Later on the Moribund Key can trigger the spell as the group nears it. It doesn't have to be Count Galdana I suppose. With this spell the possibilities are almost endless, but if you really want to maximize the impact of these visions the party needs to have prior association with the Count. I ran Carrion Hill as a rainy day adventure to mix things up a bit between Broken Moon and Wake of the Watcher. When that party died the Carrion Crown party chose to make a stop in the eponymous city. There they met Count Galdana and accompanied him on a fateful hunting trip. After tracking a dire bear for a day they saw it get mangled in midair and had to fight the now advanced Spawn of Yog-Sothoth instead. |
