As of 3/11/2020, Save Versus Hunger has decided to cancel the convention. This is what they announced today: "As an organization, we feel it is important to always keep the health and safety of our attendees as our main priority. In the wake of the current public health concerns, we have decided that the best decision for us to make is to cancel our current 2020 event. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience as we know many of you plan for this in advance. This is not a decision that we take lightly, but we do not want to take risks with your safety. We are exploring options to attempt to reschedule for later this year and will share updates as they are available."
Please join us this April 3rd – 5th for Save Versus Hunger in Maryville, TN! This charity convention features game offerings from Pathfinder first and second edition, Starfinder, Dungeons and Dragons Adventures League, Shadowrun, Arcanis, and much more! There is also an open board game library and a paint and take table sponsored by Reaper Miniatures, as well as a raffle full of prizes for all types! We even have a kitchen that serves food throughout the day so you don’t have to block out time to run to the nearest food joint! All proceeds after cost go to Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee. Last year we raised $18,000 in 3 days and set the bar pretty high… but you know gamers – we rise to the occasion! Those needing to fly in will be happy to know the venue is literally 10 minutes from Knoxville's McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) and there are many hotels, Ubers, and Lyfts to make commuting back and forth quite easy. If you would like more information, click here.
Volunteers can have their badges paid for by running at least one game for each day you plan on attending the convention. If you would like more information, feel free to private message me or contact me via email at cookevillepfssfs@gmail.com.
I would like to play Guerro de la Mouser (my level 4 swashbuckler mouser), but he works well with others if you do decide to play your fighter. Lil Eschie could bring her cleric and Threecopper could bring a sorceror to even us out some. Of course, they have say in what they play, but this is just my two copper pieces. :P
Dotted in! (Thanks Ladile for the help with the PbP lingo! ;) ) It's kinda neat playing in a different capacity. I'm excited to see you GM! (Maybe you should GM in the lodge in person sometime!) I can bring to the game... *takes a deep breath* vishkanya unchained (double stab) rogue 5
GenCon is coming up fast! I'm looking forward to volunteering in a new capactity with Pathfinder Academy. I'm excited to GM for little kids! Also, the little lodge I started in November of last year has been growing steadily! We typically get at least 1 or 2 new people each game day and have added another day of gaming to our bi-weekly schedule! I'm excited to show them Starfinder later this month and see how they like it. I'm also PUMPED about playing SkitterShot this weekend. I don't think I've ever been this excited for a Free RPG Day scenario. Seriously. Thank you, HMM for giving us a spoonful of sugar. I know I definately needed it!
So, question about the jeweled sage boon. It says "If you have fulfilled at least 10 goals across these cards and have either earned the ...." Is the only way you can get this by having more than one season card? If a character were to start with season 9's faction card, then how could they obtain this if there are only 9 goals on the season 9 faction card? Correct me if I'm reading this wrong, but I've got a bunch of players and a few GMs wondering.
I've kinda compiled most of what people said, along with my own research (especially the faction scenarios... thanks Season 9) to make this lengthy list: Blakros Museum

These are fantastic! I may just have to steal some! I too had fun creating some encounters during our first caravan expedition. I had a monkey steal something shiny from their caravan and they had to go through a campy little chase scene to catch up to it, which also led them to a hoard of random items the monkeys had stolen from other caravans over time. (It ended up being Ameiko's favorite cooking pot, since my group decided to make her the cook.). This allowed me to give them some stuff they needed due to a player dropping out and to buy us some time until we found a new one.
Aru moves 5 feet and lays a few shots into blue. Full round time! +1 Corrosive Short Bow (1st attack): 1d20 + 17 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 17 + 1 = 35
+1 Corrosive Short Bow (2nd attack): 1d20 + 17 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 17 + 1 = 35
+1 Corrosive Short Bow (3rd attack): 1d20 + 17 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 17 + 1 = 31
"Greater invis please!" She says to Kreighton, knowing that would be a better plan than her potion. She smirks, excited to shoot more than one shot, adrenaline pumping through her veins. |
